Morning. Pissy here too but I am feeling great.

'nothing in america is free' wimper wimper
Love it

Don't leave the zone BO. Wake and shake a bit more!

dinkystinky · 30/03/2010 09:00

Morning all. Weighed myself this morning and crazy digital scales tell me I've lost 2 pounds in one day Shitty old weather here too. Off out to a cookery course with my sister tonight- learning how to cook sarf indian stylee (lots of veg and chilli stuff) so hopefully will remain in the zone today.

BO - bet your scales tell you you're back in the zone again tomorrow.

Lol at Humph's buttery arse...

BariatricObama · 30/03/2010 09:03

that sounds great dinky, lots of ossum choices, just stay away from the ghee

bobbiewickham · 30/03/2010 09:04

Morning all!

Feeling zoney today - lost another pound and a half!

Bran flakes for breakfast
Pizza express for lunch - am going to stay in The Zone and do salad.
Dunno for tea - probably soup.

Stay in the zone, BO - it's temperamental scale syndrome.

dinkystinky · 30/03/2010 09:07

Good point BO - strangely (for an indian) I dont like ghee or rice particularly so hopefully wont find that too hard..

dinkystinky · 30/03/2010 09:07

Bobbie - avoid the salad dressing and dough balls (see post earlier up the thread about the dressing having 5 billion zillion cals in it)

BariatricObama · 30/03/2010 09:08

will there be ossum fish choices too?

LorraineSattell · 30/03/2010 09:09

i might have been crowing about that for effect, the fish said she'd checked the cals so maybe they changed it, bo, fear not. i was just lashing out at her because of the creme egg.

dinkystinky · 30/03/2010 09:10

Not sure - sarf indian stuff mostly veg dishes with lots of hot stuff in. Can already do ossum fish curry dish, based on lots of tomatoes, onion, cumin and turmeric, thanks to my mum (I just dont put in the gallons of oil she does when doing it)

LorraineSattell · 30/03/2010 09:13

the oil is something else, isn't it? i do madhur jaffrey's lamb rogan josh, though, and if you cut back the oil toooooo much the yoghurt curdles when you put it in at the end. trust madhur, she knows what she's doing.

dinkystinky · 30/03/2010 09:14

Just read this - made me spit my coffee out in disbelief

snurk

dinkystinky · 30/03/2010 09:15

Now realise why so many of my mates decided to go off to drama school....

BariatricObama · 30/03/2010 09:15

take yogurt out, whisk and then put back on, voila tastes as good imo.

i love madhur but ignore the oil amounts generally.

dinkystinky · 30/03/2010 09:15

Agreed Aitch - there are some recipes you just have to step out of the zone - but they're worth it...

bobbiewickham · 30/03/2010 09:16

Thanks for the tip, dinky!

dinkystinky · 30/03/2010 09:23

Right nuff messing round on the net - must go do some of that work thing

BobtheWoodmouse · 30/03/2010 09:45

morning all, in the zone but have first test today - going to friends this afternoon for coffee and no doubt cake, sandwiches - bread!!! biscuits and crap and I will have to sit there all afternoon while it throbs on the plate. I need a telling off in advance plus tips how to not eat it without looking rude. I drink black coffee no sugar so drinking is fine. It's not til 1:30, can I say I've already had lunch and actually eat something in advance too, to lessen the pangs? Off for a run now, not very tempting out there is it :-(

LorraineSattell · 30/03/2010 09:47

i don't understand, bo. the thing about that recipe is that you simmer the yog for half an hour or so, it's not that you just add at the end and stir in. i have added cornflour to the yog, that also stops it breaking up, but just in other recipes. i figure the lamb rogan josh is worth it.

MamaGlee · 30/03/2010 10:00

LOL at lashing out over a creme egg

isthatporridgeinyourhair · 30/03/2010 10:08

Have waken and shaken and weighed at optimum weighing conditions (ahem). I'M 9ST! I'M IN THE ZONE!! I'M VERY EXCITED.

LorraineSattell · 30/03/2010 10:10

i really hope that all of you dieting nine-stoners are SHORT.

LorraineSattell · 30/03/2010 10:10

and, y'know, congratulations etc.

isthatporridgeinyourhair · 30/03/2010 10:11

Microscopic - a bit like Mrs Pepperpot or a weeble.

dinkystinky · 30/03/2010 10:11

well done porridge!

cocolepew · 30/03/2010 10:12

Morning all, apparently Bob doesn't need me as a mentor seeing how she's at least 2 st lighter than me.

For all you low or no carbers are you never eating bread or cakes again?
