Boom boom.

That's fantastic though Cyb. I don't really get the cravings for food any more and I don't feel like I'm starving myself either. I want to eat like this all the time but once I've lost the weight I'm going to carry on. TBH I can't really say I've felt bereft by having wholewheat bread or pasta or cutting out cake/crisps or eating slightly less. I just feel less of a pig.

AND I showed my builders my developing abs today - they were very impressed and I don't think that's because I'm paying them

isthatporridgeinyourhair · 29/03/2010 17:14

There's no hope Bob, leave while you still can!

MmeLindt · 29/03/2010 17:50

Welcome Bob and Bunny.

Am pretty much in the Zone.

Breakfast: Soda bread with orange marmalade (and why did no one ever tell me how absolutely delicious orange marmalade is?)

Lunch: one homemade, wholemeal hot cross bun

Dinner: leftover ham from yesterday, probably as a humungous sandwich with mustardmayo.

Hmm, not so much Zone after all.

But I went runnign.

cocolepew · 29/03/2010 17:55

Lowbrow dinner alert! Bisto Cumberland Sausage Pie £1 from Asda 338 cals. It was lovely.

bobbiewickham · 29/03/2010 18:11

Right, zoney day...

Bran flakes.
Three corn thins with onion humous

BUT

am cooking prawn rogan josh with naan, rice and poppadums for tea.

Am planning on a little of everything.

Need cheering up as both dses have gone to France for a week

Special dispensation??

SuSylvester · 29/03/2010 18:12

bobbie well done
have just eaten two mini eggs

(ds3 is cooking)

OP posts:
bobbiewickham · 29/03/2010 18:16

Am not bothered by sweet stuff, weirdly.

Am wanting loads of flavour and crunch.

Curry should cover it.

What's ds3 cooking?

NomDePlume · 29/03/2010 19:02

Zone. Maybe

Apple Nutrigrain bar for breakfast
Lamb moussaka for lunch
Peanut butter and banana on toast for dinner

Will row later and eat more fruit to up vit count.

duckyfuzz · 29/03/2010 19:07

well done losers and welcome to new ones

omelette and salad for tea, other than a couple of biscuits I have been zonetastic today and I defy anyone to attend the meeting I was at and not need a biscuit, plus DTs had a creme egg each after school and I had no desire for one at all

jeans clean on today and LOOSE usually takes a couple fo days to loosen them up

AuldAlliance · 29/03/2010 19:07

yoghurt & oatflakes

strange potato & chicken dish with spices (was not at home. Potato not zone, I presume)

steamed beans & courgettes, 2 mini veal sausages (30kcal each, I checked), leftover yog&peach purée that DS2 spurned.

Not enough water.

Think I hear DH's motorbike approaching, so need to start doing exercises before he walks in, or he will tell me all about his day & then it'll be too late for situps.

geordieminx · 29/03/2010 19:17

Meh day here today. Tis bloody freezing, and has not stopped pissing down all day.. snow forecast for the next couple of days... great. It is supposed to be spring... I am supposed to be going for nice walks, doing garden etc etc. Instead I want to snuggle on sofa with hot drink and cake

Had veg soup (small), and a slice of bread with ham on for lunch, and beef stir fry for dinner - no noodles just beansprouts. oh and 2 PMT smartie cakes, although on 70kcal each.

Welcome all the newbies.

duckyfuzz · 29/03/2010 19:21

freezing here too geordie (back in your native land) tis not conducive to zoneness

geordieminx · 29/03/2010 19:26

Used to live between Newcastle and Durham ducky. Been up here 7 years now. Not much different - weather - pish, drink - cheap.

SuSylvester · 29/03/2010 19:27

lol @ducky
i thought htat you said " a couple of days to DO them up"
sheeshe that would need effot.

LAMB moussaks is outta the zone ndp

OP posts:
duckyfuzz · 29/03/2010 19:33

even at my most heffer like it only ever took me a couple of hours to do them up

geordie I'm jsut south of durham, in a village too well known for its former mp

MamaGoblin · 29/03/2010 19:43

I'm still in the Zone, I think. My snacks today - one apple, two corn thins, four brazil nuts and a small handful of raisins. And tis bloody miserable out there today. and I had to fetch my poor cat's ashes back from the vet's this afternoon. If that doesn't warrant a large helping of cake, I don't know what does.

Anyway, I think tonight's turkey mince bol with butternut rosti on top will be quite nice. I will fling caution to the winds and top with breadcrumbs. I know how to live, me.

bobbiewickham · 29/03/2010 19:46

Well, I prawn curried.

Much smaller portion than usual.

But over-naaned.

And perhaps over-poppadummed.

And a smidge of mango chutney.

And beer. And wine.

BUT have been on starvation rations all day to service it.

MamaGoblin · 29/03/2010 19:49

at 'over-naaned'

stirlingstar · 29/03/2010 19:58

Hi All.

I had apple, oats, humous salad sandwich, veg curry and small bit of naan. Definitely counts as zone for me.

No snacks at all not even at special Easter-spread toddler group and not when 41wk pregnant next door neighrbour came round for afternoon armed with latte and cake. Result.

Someone at toddler group told me how well I was looking.

and felt stuffed after quite small portion of curry

BariatricObama · 29/03/2010 20:02

my cheek bones made an appearance today.

SuSylvester · 29/03/2010 20:02

WELL DONE ALL!

BobtheWoodmouse · 29/03/2010 20:05

Thanks for the welcome, will avert my eyes at mention of creme eggs etc.

I started a food diary since the 9th March, using an iPhone app - livestrong.com and you add in exercise to get more calories for the day. At the moment I'm on just under 1,200 cals a day but boost this with exercise most days. Today I had:

pear + low fat nat yoghourt for breakfast
multigrain bagel plus crunchy peanut butter split in 2, half for lunch, half for snack in afternoon.
session of British Military Fitness tonight.
For supper, too tired to eat so had a bunch of black grapes. doesn't sound much but it took me to my calorie limit even with exercise.

The adding the food to my iphone every day does have a limiting effect, so far....

I don't do low carbs though - I've found that a preventative baked potato for supper (no butter) stops me bingeing on bread and stuff later on in the evening.

BariatricObama · 29/03/2010 20:06

[glows with pride]

bobbiewickham · 29/03/2010 20:07

Welcome BO's cheekbones.

We salute you!

SuSylvester · 29/03/2010 20:07

oi fatties - this is to cheer you all up
