I lost 4 stone after having DD2 through diet and running, so ner.

cyb · 28/03/2010 21:32

its MILES easier with an ipod. Can I recommned Deja Vu by Beyonce

NomDePlume · 28/03/2010 21:38

Killers are good. Stupid Girl too slow, imo, you need something with a motivational pace. I don't run anymore but when I did faves were Somebody Told Me (Killers), Living For The Weekend (Hard-Fi), My My My (Armand Van Helden - good for slower warm up stuff).

fishie · 28/03/2010 21:39

running does make a small difference in calories in / energy out. otherwise not a vast amount no although it stops me getting anxious and drinking too much. the trick is not to eat too much. an egg and a couple of clementimes is enough for an hour's run i find, no need for massive foodathon.

now who else hates being told they've lost weight? i just hear "you were FAT"

NomDePlume · 28/03/2010 21:41

when I was running I was definitely leaner.

Undertone · 28/03/2010 21:48

fishie - well... you WERE fat(ter). I know what you mean, though.

BariatricObama · 28/03/2010 21:54

running is good for toning adn less dull than going to the gym.

SuSylvester · 28/03/2010 21:57

grr at ruinnign taking over Jonestown

bog off to runners thread

OP posts:
BariatricObama · 28/03/2010 21:58

get over it su!

NomDePlume · 28/03/2010 22:01

ah su, lighten up. We've had bee and gladiator sandal talk. Surely a bit of exercise talk is actually relevant to a weightloss thread ?

No point in being twiggy if you look like spent balloon. Tone it up.

dinkystinky · 28/03/2010 22:05

Lighten up Su - literally

Cheers Nom - Killers I can do! Thinking maybe ting tings too - will be putting running musak thing into motion on tuesday... know from experience that running makes the weight drip off (did both times before got pregnant - refusing to run any more races as each time I did I found out I was up the duff)

SuSylvester · 28/03/2010 22:06

am vari tired and it shows

OP posts:
NomDePlume · 28/03/2010 22:11

Gah, yes stay away from races. Dinkystinky3 NOT good for the Zone.

LeSingeEstDansLarbre · 28/03/2010 22:11

McBitchy · 28/03/2010 22:14

NomDePlume · 28/03/2010 22:18

Off to do some ironing

cyb · 28/03/2010 22:20

NomDePlume · 28/03/2010 22:23

Yes, my stuff for work tmrw, DH's shirt and DS2's and DD's uniforms. It's my pennance for a lazy weekend of minimum housework (last minute bung a wash on job).

noddyholder · 28/03/2010 22:27

Get fish oils and drink more water to beat skinny haggard face without eating more.Or mashed avocado on toasted brown bread instead of butter.

MamaG · 28/03/2010 22:37
