nah. i was getting bored with the monkey. it's interesting having a new name i think. interesting how it makes Fuck All Difference nowadays. you tell a couple of pals on your hangout thread who you are and you're fine there, then the rest of the place is such a free-for-all that no one gives a damn who anyone was anyway.

MamaG · 28/03/2010 23:07

good good

LorraineSattell · 28/03/2010 23:08

LorraineSattell · 28/03/2010 23:28

MmeLindt · 29/03/2010 06:27

Who are all these new posters?

And who are you McB?

I never namechange, unless for a festive season. Not thought of one for Easter yet.

Going out for a run later. You can sneer, Su, but thanks to all the running I have lost another kg since Friday (2lb for you metric refusniks) and it cannot be the food, or lack of it. Ate well at the weekend.

BariatricObama · 29/03/2010 06:55

MamaLee · 29/03/2010 07:03

Looking back I think yesterday was hog day.

branflakes, raisins, semi - small portion of

cheese savoury sandwich from Greggs - yes i know, but there wasn't anything else remotely slimming and Iw as hungry.

Fat free butternut squash risotto, but with fat-laden parmesan (prob tablespoon full) but I had quite a big portion

grapes for snackage and ONE CHOCOLATE BUTTON

Was that a VeryBadDay or just a minor glitch, do you think?

SuSylvester · 29/03/2010 07:42

cyb · 29/03/2010 07:58

Have a good day skinny malinks

CheeeseOnToast · 29/03/2010 09:11

Blimey, a whole hour has gone by without a post on this thread!

Yesterday was a bad day. Ended up going to bed at 9pm, but not before i had woofed four crackers with pate. Bad Cheeesey. Still, it's a new dawn, its a new day, it's a new life etc... and I'm feeing GOOD!

Clavicles are rearing their lovely heads again and skin looks much clearer from all the water. Some of it's sparkling but I don't suppose that matters too much?

Cheerios for brekkie, will have soup for lunch and then I'm cooking lasagne for DP for dinner so I will have a v small serving of that, with loads of salad. In fact I might do my own version of lasagne in my own dish, is there anything I can use instead of pasta for the layers? Thinking of doing mince (lean, natch) with bit of red wine, lamb stock, carrot, tomatoes, garlic, reduced and simmered for a few hours. Then I'll do spinach and ricotta as the other layer (ricotta's not too bad is it?) but I just need something for the layers... any ideas?

Or I could just forget it completely, do lasagne for DP and I'll just have the bolognaise innards. Actually that will be lots easier

cocolepew · 29/03/2010 09:16

Hello skinnies I'm start my Easter hols today, 2 weeks.

SuSylvester · 29/03/2010 09:21

OP posts:
bobbiewickham · 29/03/2010 09:29

Cabbage leaves for layers? Savoy?

dinkystinky · 29/03/2010 09:31

Cheeeese - I read that your skin was sparkling and wondered why you were worried about that. Clearly going stupid from lack of calories...

I do a lasagne using layers of aubergine and courgette (cut into thin strips) instead of pasta. Works ok.

CheeeseOnToast · 29/03/2010 09:34

ooooooh cabbage leaves is a v interesting idea! Yes, thats inspired me, I think I'll try it!

Or yes just the sauce with some cauli on the side, a la Su. I adore cauliflower.

Coco - good luck with the kitchen padlock! When I know I'm home I just make sure that all the bad food is out of the house. And then I'm too lazy to walk to the shops to buy more biscuits so I make do with whats in the cupboards (well thats the theory anyway

I find being at home is more conducive to dieting than being out. Too many lovely shops or work canteens with lots of easy food. I've been out of work since the beginning of January and the lack of vending machine chocolate has certainly helped me along on the diet front.
