Blimey BO - I was enjoying that on Youtube last night! (Probably because someone linked to Johnny Cash last night, no?) Love it.

BariatricObama · 28/03/2010 09:00

NomDePlume · 28/03/2010 09:07

morning skinnies

went to BILs last night and had...

2 tiny boiled new potatoes
some roasted veg
a desert sppon of artichoke
slice of thick cut Nice Ham
tiny slice of roast beef
desert spoon of some mixed bean and tomato thing
2 profiteroles
3 lge vodka and s/l tonics

It was a meze/tapas type of arrangements. V nice. Tell you what though, you lose weight and can't hold your drink anymore. All that fat absorbs the booze or summat

Haven't had breakfast yet. Scrambled eggs I think.

Ossom · 28/03/2010 09:33

god twas only wagamamas.

cocolepew · 28/03/2010 09:35

Last night I LEFT half my Double Decker

Unfortunately this morning I'm eating chocolate chip shortbread for breakfast.

I'll try really hard this week. Promise.

gherkinwithapurplemerkin · 28/03/2010 09:39

Got sunday lunch at greedy mil's today. They all eat gargantuan portions. Am going to have to fight hard not to eat a plateful the size and weight of a newborn.
But I'll Do IT.
Zone. Zone. Zone.

Just gonna have fruit for breakf and not much tea I think.

Ossom · 28/03/2010 09:40

do you TELL them you are dieting or not?

cocolepew · 28/03/2010 09:44

And now I have a swollen eye, if I get shingles there I'll freak.
Or get a black eye patch [runs to S&B threads]

Ossom · 28/03/2010 09:46

liz hurley in times says this

"But isn?t it true that staying ?celebrity thin? actually involves not eating very much at all?
?If you take people who aren?t in show business or fashion, then probably I am quite high in the self-discipline stakes,? she admits, and her principal rule for keeping weight off is depressingly simple.

?I always say, it has to come down to desire. You have to want to get into your small jeans more than you want to eat chocolate biscuits. That?s all it is. It?s no more than that. It?s just a choice.? "

LadyBlaBlah · 28/03/2010 09:47

I told people I was dieting yesterday. May as well have shot a puppy considering the response i got

Ossom · 28/03/2010 09:48

snort.

cocolepew · 28/03/2010 09:49

I'm disappointed she didn't say "civilians"

Ossom · 28/03/2010 09:49

she is such a wanker.

noddyholder · 28/03/2010 09:49

I like being right for once!
I also think it is worth sticking a fitted shirt on every so often

cocolepew · 28/03/2010 09:51

I bought a black and white stiped jumper dress thing from Next yesterday. It makes me look 18ft wide and 2 ft tall.

bobbiewickham · 28/03/2010 09:52

Only problem with Liz Hurley is that she seems to want to get into her small jeans more than she wants to do anything else at all.

It's a balance.

noddyholder · 28/03/2010 09:53

I am a bit like her!Looking good in white jeans in summer is hard work you know......

gherkinwithapurplemerkin · 28/03/2010 09:57

I dunno whether to say or not. Cos they are all so fat well-upholstered such good eaters that tey will all gasp and tell me off. But I won't allow my feeders to sway me

gherkinwithapurplemerkin · 28/03/2010 09:58

And and La Hurley. Anyone who dresses her 7yo son like an extra from Vanity Fair is not worth listening to IMO

bobbiewickham · 28/03/2010 09:59

Tell 'em, gherkin. And bear in mind that they are trying to knock you off your perch because deep down they know you are going to look even more gorgeous and they shouldn't be troughing so much.

Tell 'em and feel smug.
