I've rejoined nutracheck this morning. Just waking up, blessed with a lazy morning, then hopping on the scales to get my official start weight.

I'm looking at about 15st and at 5ft 3, I'm feeling the pain. My aim is to lose 5 stone by next May.

I'm doing this for health benefits as well as how I look. I turn 44 very soon and I can't feel this unwell any longer. I also look old and tired so hoping weight loss will brighten me up a bit.

Will log my start weight when I know it officially. Wanted to post before I chicken out (again).

I’m in. Having a reset this month. No big plans other than eat mindfully, up my activity levels and steps (currently very low) and knock beer on the head. Will see what that brings whilst I work out a new goal for June.

Yes a friend, phew!

Also knocking the beer on the head was the plan however the kids ended up going out for lunch with grandparents so me and hubby had a wander into town, some street food and 2 pints later 🙄 have logged everything that's gone in my mouth and done nearly almost 10k steps so it could be worse!

I did weigh in at exactly 15 stone this morning so definitely (as expected) at least 5 stone to go.

Just joined the gym at a local small hotel which has a pool mainly as one of the kids is struggling to learn to swim. So could put that to good use!!

I'm joining too. Just had my shopping delivered including new batteries for the scales so I can assess the damage Confused
Once kids are sorted I'll be weighing in. Got a couple of weekend aways but not drinking except for those. We've got this ladies!

I’m in and will post my loss at the end of May. I have 100 lbs to lose! Will a tart calorie documenting tomorrow had a day off today. I exercise most days I just eat too many calories so don’t lose weight. Giving up alcohol for May too.

Can I join too, please? I lost 5 stones a few years ago but have gained 2 back in the last year, and I want to prevent going further down that path. I follow the W. W. plan as that tends to be sustainable for me. Weighed in this morning at 12st 13lbs, hoping to get to 10st 10lbs by the end of the year.

I need to lose 10 kg so I can proceed with my knee surgery
this would get my bmi down to 35 so ideally would like to lose more. I started my new regime three weeks ago and have lost 3kg but still a omg way to go.
it’s also tricky becuase I have v reduced mobility and a lot of pain, I enquired about the new weight loss injection and was told a two year wait in our area unfortunately

I took the dog out and, as it was sunny, nipped to the pub for a pint too 🙄 10k steps though and I haven’t overeaten. Baby steps!

I'll join you too! I've been losing weight slowly for over a year now but have stalled for the last few months and really need to get back to it.

I've lost 2 stone 3.6 so far but have another 3 stone 12.8 to go.

My weight this morning was 12 stone 12.8

I'm calorie counting, and aiming for at least 10k steps per day!

Right, just weighed in. 17st 3lbs. I'm 5'7. Only myself to blame since having the kids, I've a long way to go but really want to lose some now.

I love a weight loss chitchat thread! I’m in for May, I’ve lost a stone already this year and have another half a stone to go. My weight loss is slow, I am very much up and down. I had a good April but I regained so much over Easter that I have now lost so I weigh the same now as i did at the end of March. I’m 156lbs, this week I’m determined to get under 154. my strategy is calorie counting, low carb, high protein and exercise- no tricks or gimmicks, just healthy food and not too much. I have a tremendous appetite so portion size is my biggest issue.

Please may I join you? Husband (kindly) told me I'd put on a fair bit of weight recently today - as has he. Glad he said something as I was pulling the wool over my eyes and knew it deep down.
I've been unable to do much exercise as I am injured. Aiming for at least 10k steps per day and will be giving up the bread and butter in favour of celery sticks and low cal hummus, etc
We can do this if we stick together I'm sure!

I will weigh in tomorrow!

Aw hi to everyone that's joined. I'm so pleased I'm not on my own. So day 1 done.... daily calories stuck to and some exercise done.

I've been 'trying' to lose weight for around 6 weeks now but just can't seem to get into it. I've been able to cut right down on the cake and biscuits but am going overboard in other areas instead! I was all smug about having soup for dinner tonight - then went and had 4 cheese sandwiches with it!!! What's the secret to really getting in the zone?!

I've had enough of my muffin top, my breathlessness walking up hills and my clothes no longer fitting! I'm 13 stone, the heaviest I've ever been. Its making me feel miserable.

Starting with upping water, took the dog for a walk, and had an omelette for breakfast.
I have a thyroid condition, and take that many meds, it makes it very difficult for me to lose weight. I need to be sustainable and it will come off but slowly.

I had a really nice pudding tonight, and only 150 calories! It might sound a bit gross but don't knock it til you've tried it!

A handful of frozen raspberries that have been defrosting 20 mins
An activia yoghurt, cherry flavour
Half a sachet of readybrek smooth oats

Stir it all together

Trifle is still way deliciouser obviously, but it wasn't actually a bad substitute!!

Day 2 for me I recorded everything yesterday and I had a calorie deficit of 300 calories. I was hungry at 7pm so I ate something but then I felt too full for bed so I am going to eat more dinner tonight at 530pm and try and have a bigger calorie deficit today. Going to try and stop eating at 6pm. Have a good day recording calories everyone.
