I'm 42, 5ft1, 9.5 stone, size 10/12. I'd love to lose a stone as that would take me to a healthier BMI. I cook healthy meals but snacking is my downfall

48 yo
5' 7"
62kg (about 10 stone?)
Size 12.

18 months ago I was about 10kg heavier but had a very stressful time and lost a stone. Much happier at this weight so trying to keep the weight off. I don't exercise at all (due to disability) so just trying to eat less.

62kg is well under 10st

YouWithoutEnd · 04/02/2023 23:23

flabbygoldfish · 04/02/2023 23:26

Late forties, 5’2”. Just under 11 stone.
weigh too much, on a kick to try and ditch at one stone. Even joined a gym to try and ditch my lockdown weight.

I am fairly active but the weight crept on stealthily.

Shouldbesleeping8 · 04/02/2023 23:27

In 5f 9in and 15 stone. It's the most I've ever been. I feel uncomfortable in all my clothes. I don't really care too much about weight in comparison to other people - I've always been tall with big boobs and broad shoulders. However I am bothered by my stomach at the moment and the fact that I don't feel I look good in my favourite outfits.

Too much.

I read today that 60% of British adults are either overweight or obese! It’s shocking. We’re becoming the USA of Europe. In 1970, just 3% of Brits were obese. Today, it’s 25%. Surely that alone proves it isn’t “down to genetics,” as so many people claim.

smidge80 · 04/02/2023 23:39

5ft 1 and 12 st
I'm hideous but can't seem to sort myself out. Life is so stressful and I'm a massive comfort eater.
I'm so cross with myself Blush
