A Warm Welcome to New and existing Members alike! Fresh new month, fresh new start, fresh new habits. Jump right in to reset & refresh to become a healthier version of yourself.

As no one size fits all, members need to follow their own way of eating. This thread aims to offer guidance, support and a bit of hand holding.

We generally have WOW (weigh on Wednesday) day each week. However post and share your progress as often or as little as you prefer. Do what works for you.

The important thing is not to think of it as a diet (based on deprivation and unsustainable) but more a way of life (sustainable & enjoyable).

I calorie count based on a lower carb Mediterranean diet. I intermittent fasting and eat twice a day.

Are you in😊 What food plan will you be following? What do you want to change and why?

I’ll take that 😊

Working lots at the moment so running isn’t happening. Not even walking tbh. I have next week off and hopefully things will settle after that 👍

SunshineCake1 · 28/02/2022 10:32

I ran again this morning. It was hard at the beginning and I struggled to get my rhythm but at least I did it and I wasn't too slow. Then walked the dog with dh. I'm up quite a lot this month. 5.4lb. Sorry gang to let you all down. Disappointed as I had a long fast Friday to Saturday and have done a good fat burning fast Sunday to Monday plus run 20km but maybe I'll have a whoosh on Wednesday 🤞🐢🐢🐢.

It's been an unsettling month and my weight has fluctuated up and down by around 5lbs.
I've got into the habit of going to the gym or pool 3 or 4 tines a week and starting a yoga class this week. I love yoga but haven't been able to practise for almost a year since my back injury.
SW: 12 st.
CW: 11 St. 12 (today)
GW: 10 St 7 ideally but 10/10 would be OK as it's my max according to BMI chart.
So 2 pound loss in Feb which is a start especially as some days the scales have said 12/3.
It's hard though. I've been walking every day, even getting up to 20,000 steps some days. Had smaller portion sizes. Given up alcohol. Given up chocolate and crisps and snacking between meals. Given up desserts except maybe a piece of fruit.
I've found I'm not craving chocolatey things the way I used to. Also drinking lots of water to help me feel full.
It's very inspiring to read all of your tips.
Good luck to everyone as we go into March x

Morning all! I’m ignoring my final weigh in of the month, as it’s shot up overnight. I refuse to believe it’s a proper gain 🤬

My total kilometres for February came to 255.43, bringing the total for the year so far to 544.85 km.

I spent all day yesterday birdwatching. Apparently that burnt more than a 1000 calorie 🤔 There was a fair bit of walking involved, but that still seems a little high…

Day 58 - Mon 28th Feb - 9s 1 & 3/4lb
BMI 21.1
BF 23.2

I didn't eat much yesterday but did have an M&S Chinese last night which is super salty so I expected to go up on the scales. I am a bit stressed at the moment though & I honestly think I'm burning calories with anxiety 😕

Hi @pennysays 👋🏻 Yes that was originally my goal weight when I was closer to 10 stone. I'd always been around 8s 13lb & really wanted to see under 9 stone on the scales again, but once I got to 9s 2/3lb I felt so much better that I dropped it as an aim. If things carry on I might get there inadvertently though!

fallfallfall · 01/03/2022 06:45

Skipped the last day of the month weigh in as well.
I’ll weigh in tomorrow though.
New thread or fine on this one for another month?

SunshineCake1 · 01/03/2022 07:02
