1 stone to lose

Little bit about me:

4 children under 4 (yeah I know)
Last pregnancy was in April this year.
I am 10 stone 2 lbs
Monday I downloaded fitness pal, so I’m counting calories.
I wear an Apple Watch so track my cycling and walking on that.
I like to burn 520 calories a day. That’s my daily goal.

Anyone want to join me on this journey? And swap recipes, of course 😋

Ok I'm going to reset my watch. I'm on 9k .... There's time!

Globaluser · 26/11/2021 09:53

Hi everyone, I’m back to 9st 13lbs
But yes, it’s nice to see how different I look in clothes. So that’s main thing I guess.

Let’s keep busy this weekend and not be tempted to overeat and be lazy. I think this weekends weather will be perfect for that kind of behavior.

I’m going out for a steak this Saturday, but be burning it off by loads of walking.

What everyone else’s plans?

Hello,

So I said I would weigh in tomorrow. I have been really good with food but I definitely haven’t drunk enough water.

Congrats on 9 stone 13!! Well done 👏

Hello,

So I did it - 9 stone 7.
Last time I weighed, before I started the diet I was 9 stone 6 - but I look less bloated today and I feel good, so how it all actually works is a mystery!!

Today, the plans are take the kids swimming and have my eyelashes done. Quite chill.

Happy Saturday everyone!

Is this thread still going? I am in this position - 5 ft 2 and weigh 63kg - most of my adult life I’ve been 55-59kg and went up to 68kg so have lost just under a stone already and want to lose around another stone to get to where I used to be.
I’ve just come off a failed IVF cycle so hormones puffed me up.
Planning to do 15,000 steps, spin class each day, 16:8 fasting and eating a healthy Mediterranean diet with tons of veg, fish etc.

@Cherryana you’ve probably gained muscle from the exercise! Congratulations 😁

@Gensola that’s great that you’ve lost a stone! Sounds like you’ve got a lot on your plate at the moment though (no pun intended!) so be gentle with yourself too xx

Hi everyone, I’ve gained a pound and so this morning when my 8 month old baby decided to wake up at 6am, I decided to have chocolate for breakfast 😭

Commiserations @Globulser

Well I have done what I always do. I did well for a week. Got on the scales, saw I had put on a pound, and spiralled out of control since.

Why can't I stick to anything? Why do I feel better and still sabotage myself? Seriously, I don't know how to get off this merry-go-round.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Globaluser · 03/12/2021 22:57

Yes, I know what you mean. Why the fuck are we gaining when we being so good????

But… I’m joining a gym with daycare so let’s see what happens. I’ll pay extra to join for only 4 weeks and see if i can get 2/3 kids out in time for a gym sesh (got to book daycare slots in)

I hope that goes well. Also it will be a break, your kids will like playing and it’s productive so it sounds like a win all round!

I am working a lot less this week and so 🤞for a good week for me too.
