18 weeks until Christmas

It’s 18 weeks until Christmas and I would love to be 25lbs lighter by then. I want to do lots of self care as well as 50s skin is looking very dry and elephant like.

Plan is 10,000 steps no snacking, lots more vegetables and daily yoga. Does anyone want to join me?

I weigh every day and use happy scale to get a trend.

Lost 4lbs this week- first week always good but then slows to a trickle. Lost 2 1/2 stone from feb to June then slacked off in July/aug (didn’t intend to) but back on low carb wagon and feeling fine.
My start weight is from this sept. I also weigh everyday - when I don’t is when I start ‘relaxing’
SW 193
CW 189
GW 150 but I’m prepared for that to take ages

I felt writing a list on my phone of all the reasons I wanted to lose weight really helped. From big health ones to little things like tights/rings being too small.

I was sitting in the car thinking that we should get a thai take away for dinner because I wasn't going to weigh the next day because of my period. But then I'd go hard this week. And then this chat topic came on!

Didn't have thai! Decided I will have it at some point this month, but it will be planned and enjoyed, rather than a "fuck it, eat the whole kitchen on a sunday" type meal

Swum 40 lengths before lunch to attempt to mitigate this somewhat! Feeling happy with my effort so far this week. Let's hope the scales finally reflect that on Monday

Hi, can I join? I have been trying to lose weight since the 20th of april I have lost 39.8lbs so far and am now officially in the healthy weight category🥰 but I still have 26.7lbs to lose which I'm hoping the majority of that will be lost by Christmas!
Start weight 14st 6lbs (down from 15st 1lb at the start of my pregnancy, baby now 7 and half months)

Current weight 11st 8.6lbs

Goal weight 9st 10lbs (will reassess then as might be happier at 9st 7lbs)

Height 5ft 7 and half inches

I have hashimoto and possibly lipodema so weight loss is hard for me, on 1200 csls and tons of exercise it takes about a year to lose 10lb but I put on so easy with even small indulgence so I have gone for exante 800 cals a day! Just started this week with the intention of having one day off per week as I am aiming for 6 months.
So pre-preg I was 182 pounds, after I was 252 pounds despite not "eating for 2", I have always gained dramatically with hormones including on the pill. I dieted for a few years to no effect and remained at 252 poundd. Ihen hit it hard and strict and after getting down to 225 pounds I literally put in all back on in 10 days over Christmas 😳 and have not been able to lose since, so have bitten the bullet and gone for the exante diet. I started Monday and my weight was 253 and today my weight is 250, so a 3 lb loss.

Bit disappointed tbh but I have looked up some things to help metabolism on a low cal diet and next week will up my water intake and get my exercise regime back on track. The day off is recommended apparently to keep the metabolism going so will keep that in.

I've really struggled to get going to be honest but today I feel like I've turned a corner. Eaten moderately, been out for two walks as well as being active around the house, did half an hour of yoga and feeling back in the zone.

About time too as I can feel I've put on weight recently. I'm big busted and always gain weight on my upper body. Bras feeling very tight, can't wait to get into the house so I can put on a baggy top and go braless.

1.5lbs off for me this week.

I think that's a total of 2lb since we started, as I bounced up and down the first few weeks.

Think it was deserved. 3 fairly unhealthy dinners for various reasons, but quite a good amount of exercise.

Getting very close to the bottom of a stone category that I will be glad to see the back of! Hope everyone has a good weigh in!

@WinterWeightlossGoal how is it going? I'm the one with IVF starting in Jan so we had similar reasons for our weight loss goals! I haven't actually lost any weight since this challenge started (although had lost 2,5kg the month prior at least!) but am back on it as of today.

Today's plan is to:

  • do minimum 10k steps
  • log everything on mfp and stick below 1400 cals
  • do some core exercises and press ups, as I'm still aching from my weights/leg day on Friday
  • drink 3 litres of water
  • no alcohol (since lockdown#1 consumption has gone up unfortunately!)

CW 73.7kg - Hoping to be sub 73 by the end of the week.

Have avoided weighing these last few days as is time of the month but on day 4 now so water weight should be gone lol so checked my weight and am weighing in at 11st 7lbs so 1.6lbs lost which isn't as much as usual but is good considering afGrin

CW 65:8. Going to have some celebrations this weekend and park the diet, though.

No loss for me this week, but when I count up this week we had three take aways 🤦🏼‍♀️ so I'm actually very happy with no gain!

Feeling good today despite that. Did a decent walk with the family yesterday. Won't be going to the gym today as need to conserve petrol 🙄 but will try and do some kickboxing at home this evening now that our home gym garage is now tidy not full of DIY shit.

Shout out to everyone still ploughing on! This week is another week.
