Says she, thought I would start a new thread. After yesterday's triumph, I ended up eating rubbish yesterday (lack of time and planning) and weight out for a Toby (bar snacks) last night to get my Dad out of the house to give DS1 space. Weigh 9st2 this morning, but confident that I didn't eat the 8,000 calories needed to gain over 2 pounds. Aim for the end of October is 8st13.5 (rather than .75 which was my new low yesterday), the sky is the limit

Now Octopus, what did you say about being patient and kind with yourself?! I think the way you manage the tiniest of fluctuations is amazing. Onwards and upwards for November!

HoneyBadger it's good to hear that about the exercise! I love seeing how exercise makes measurable differences like that, especially cardio fitness.

I have a free morning! But there's only 90 minutes left of it and I have teaching admin to do. And it's chucking it down with rain so I don't think I'll be getting out on my bike :-(

Thanks Honeybadger, I will read that over and see can I use it here too. I see on fitbit my walk is usually high cardio and a little but of 'peak' but I'm unclear on it really. I have been listening to JS there on a few YouTube videos and I think I'm almost back in the game for November. Walk and over 10k steps in and a run tomorrow. I am considering JS jab deficit, which is a week-3 weeks cal deficit followed by a planned week or more of maintenance.. Might be worth a try. Also going to keep his food type/combos in mind. Got a takeaway last night but only wanted half and had the other half for lunch. Will go with something lighter for tea and up the water. Couldn't weigh this AM as had to jump out of bed quickly to a crying dc and just stayed downstairs then.
Aim for the day 14k steps, 2L water, reasonably early bed. Two more pieces fruit. Baby steps!

Yes you're right Heygirlboy, a bit irrational I know. Think babysteps is a good way to go, I'm going out tonight for the last time probably pre-lockdown but aiming for lots of water today, have probably drunk about a pint of water so far, more to follow
