1.2 off. Even less than usual and i had to stand on he scales six times to get that. I know the culprit though.

Well done on your losses everyone else!

1lb on for me, not a huge surprise as I've been rubbish, far too much snacking. Got back into the zone yesterday, so hoping that continues.
I'm also trying that intermittent fasting thing, so aiming to eat within an 8 hour window. It was the first day yesterday and actually was ok, I certainly appreciated eating earlier in the evening and not going to bed so full.
Well done everyone, it's so lovely to see the support for each other on here.

FreckledLeopard · 14/05/2020 09:44

Another pound off for me. Bought a Garmin watch this week and it's useful to see my step count and to motivate me to do more running. 1 stone to go!

Steala · 14/05/2020 09:49

Urgh. 3 pounds on. I'm doing loads of exercise and I've reduced snacks. I'm going to have to start taking this seriously.

lovinglavidaloca · 14/05/2020 10:00

Well done all of you this week! Whether you lost, gained or stayed the same. The main thing is you’re here, checking in!

I’m another aiming for 9 stone but can’t imagine ever being happy with my body so when I get there I’ll probably want more off. I carry lots of weight on my hips and it just never seems to go.

overwork · 14/05/2020 10:18

2lbs down Grin
I'd like to lose another lb (minimum) next week and say goodby to the 12's forever!
Really enjoying checking in here even if the scales aren't doing exactly what we hoped.
This group is the most normal thing in my life right now!

redavocado · 14/05/2020 10:25

2.2lb off! GrinI can definitely feel a difference this week. I'm absolutely shattered from work and childcare and workouts but at least the workouts feel like something for me.

lovinglavidaloca · 14/05/2020 10:28

@overwork well done! I’m in a new stone bracket next week if a lose a lb too so fingers crossed for us both. I think that will be a big boost.

Takeaway night here so I’ll only be having a bowl of soup at lunch time other than that and I’ll still be slightly over my calories but was way under the other day so it balances out.

JonHammIsMyJamm · 14/05/2020 10:55

Well done to everyone, whether you lost, games or stayed the same. Sticking with it in the face of a gain or maintain is tough.

I’ve not eaten yet, got up at 7 and have had two pints of water (over a litre) and a cup of tea. I’m going to have an omelette, I think. They seem to be working for me in terms of keeping me full, being junk free and good on the calorie front.

JonHammIsMyJamm · 14/05/2020 10:56

Gained not games. My iPad has decided to start playing silly buggers with keyboard sensitivity and makes it up as it goes along Hmm

overwork · 14/05/2020 11:49

@lovinglavidaloca you're on! It really helps having other people in the same place as you. Looking forward to celebrating us both next week!

Mediumred · 14/05/2020 12:19

Umm, I have put one on, arghh, bit disappointed, have only lost one overall but I guess if I don’t come out of lockdown bigger then it will be a small triumph, it’s just that I am really a stone over where I would like to be and am not having a lot of luck shifting it!

Well done to everyone anyhow.

AutumnNymph · 14/05/2020 12:21

I had a much better day yesterday ad stuck to my eating window and have had a decent day today so far. This week's weigh-in was the kick I needed.
We can do this!

MrsSnitchnose · 14/05/2020 15:01

Well after staying the same last week, I'm down 2 lbs today!

Well done to everyone, whether you maintained, gained or lost. What matters is that you're aware of what's happening and you are in control.

I'm on pizza tonight, will take me slightly over my calories for the day, but the average for the week will still come out at 1214 a day

Well done everyone! Two pounds down for me, and I’m pleased with that. I’m finding the thread and prospect of a weekly weigh-in really motivating. I’ve finally noticed a minuscule difference in my waistline, but I’ve got another 10 to 15 pounds to go. Just not got to let impatience get to me.

Alicatz66 · 14/05/2020 18:56

@vinotinto88 .. I sound exactly the same ! I'm 10 stone which is the heaviest I've been for 20 years. I was 9 or just under for years and I felt great . Last year I crept up to 9.4 .. and by after last Xmas to 9.8 ... now 10 !! .. I had a hysterectomy at start of March so am still a bit bloated .. but I can't stop eating in this lockdown ! ... I'm starting properly next Monday .. losing the wine and strict calorie counting . Was considering low carb which I find gets the weight off quickly but makes me moody !!!! ... and the weight piles back on as it's probably water weight anyway

Fluffle55 · 14/05/2020 19:22

2lb off for me, that’s 8lb since we started so I’m happy with that. Although I have eaten within my cals, I AM STARVING ALL THE TIME.

MrsSnitchnose · 14/05/2020 20:04

@Fluffle55 How heavy are you? Are you eating enough?

diege · 14/05/2020 20:23

I think I'm having sugar withdrawal! I'd kill for a creme egg, or failing that a Kit Kat /white twix/double decker/whispa gold 🤣🤣🤣
I'm having to brave aldi to get milk - I can at least have a look at the confectionary 🤪
I must say how you lot are keeping me on the straight and narrow- Ive had my 2 glasses of water too!

lovinglavidaloca · 14/05/2020 20:48

@diege I have a white twix and a Kit Kat pretty much every day Grin

Just forced myself out a run. Probably not the best idea after pizza and chips from the chip shop.

diege · 14/05/2020 21:38

Ooh loving chippy chips! Are we the same person? 🤣
I did have a good look at the chocolate aisles, but am consoling myself with a can of diet fizzy orange and two shortcake biscuits 😅 Only 3 pounds away from the stone I want to be in, so am going to power on!

MrsSnitchnose · 14/05/2020 21:39

My guilty pleasure is a curly wurly, I have one every day. I need regular chocolate!

OP posts:
lovinglavidaloca · 14/05/2020 22:16

You’ll smash it Diege!

You’ve got to have those treats you love Mrs Snitch or you just won’t stick to it I think. There’s no need to not have them. All about balance :)

diege · 14/05/2020 23:15

Curly Wurlys! I used to have one every night, from the fridge, with 2 rich tea biscuits, for my Slimming World Syns!
Probably one of the most satisfying chocolate bars in my opinion 😅

MrsSnitchnose · 14/05/2020 23:47

Definitely! And they're the one kind of chocolate that DS won't steal because he can't be bothered chewing 😂
