@sushinelove I thought it was Thursday today too 🤦

I do okay with water, but only drink sparkling, usually with a splash of some squash to perk it up a bit. On an average day, I drink around 3 litres, more if I'm at work, plus coffee and tea before anyone asks, yes I do pee constantly!

Piscesperson Hi 👋

Wow, 3 litres!

lovinglavidaloca · 13/05/2020 22:05

I am impressed some of you! I need to up my water drinking game drastically.

Will try really hard for 2 litres tomorrow and go from there.

MrsSnitchnose · 13/05/2020 22:12

@diege I'm always thirsty, and my vape dehydrates me I think

diege · 13/05/2020 22:31

I'm going to aim for 2 glasses 🤣

MrsSnitchnose · 13/05/2020 23:02

Make sure they're pint ones!

Im a flavoured fizzy water addict. I really notice that weight comes off easier if I've upped the water intake.

LimeJellyforBrains · 13/05/2020 23:49

That's interesting re the water and weight loss - I was managing to drink more the first week, but since the weather has turned a bit colder I'm barely drinking any water at all. Must make an effort!

Not expecting good things tomorrow, too many snacks and too little exercise the last few days.

You lot are lovely though, this is a really supportive thread Smile

MrsSnitchnose · 14/05/2020 00:49

@LimeJellyforBrains It's worth mentioning that it all counts, not just plain water though obviously that's better. The main key is hydration

I'm really loving this thread, one of the few places I've come across on mn where everyone is nice to each other

Ahhhh! Stayed the same again this week! My bmi has gone down (get weighed on Wii) and although it initially said -1lb, it mustn't have been enough to register, if you see what I mean.
My clothes are feeling (fitting) better so I'll keep going with the calorie counting and the exercise and hopefully it'll register a loss next week! So disheartening but I understand weight loss isn't linear and I'm here for the long haul anyway!

Good luck everyone!

diege · 14/05/2020 07:22

2 pounds off for me, so pleased with that. I'm a pound-a-week person at the best of times, so anything extra a bonus!
rumandcoke I bet you'll get a big loss next week - have STS before for several weeks and its disheartening, especially when you've been 'on plan' 😩

JonHammIsMyJamm · 14/05/2020 07:28

1lb off for me.

Not a huge amount but a loss is a loss, I’ve not been strict on plan and I’ve not got a lot to lose really, so all in all it seems fair.

OwlinaTree · 14/05/2020 07:49

Agghh half a lb on!! Am blaming time of the month.

OwlinaTree · 14/05/2020 07:49

Well done losers!

WitchoftheBog · 14/05/2020 07:53

I've stayed the same. Surprised as had a bad week. Stressed and bored = comfort eating. I'm rarely bored and I don't like it.
Went cycling yesterday and didn't snack last night so will increase the cycling trips. And the crocheting to keep my fingers busy. And will read this thread instead of snacking.
Everyone is doing really well and I am loving the support here.

vinotinto88 · 14/05/2020 07:56

Can I join?

30, 5"7 - usually able to manage 9st but crept up to 9.5st last year (being content I guess).

Then during lockdown I went up to 10.5st really quickly - pure wine calories. Plus constant grazing on shite as I was home all day trying to work. Big time comfort eating. I'm a feeder which doesn't help. None of my clothes fit 😭

This week I've been having protein shakes for breakfast and lunch. Then a light dinner - chicken salad, quinoa and salmon etc. Plus diet tea that just makes me poop.

I'm starving. Miserable. But I find I'm all or nothing so have to stick to it for a few weeks to stay motivated by watching the scales move.

I've lost 2lbs- so down to 10st 3lb.

10lbs to go 😞

vinotinto88 · 14/05/2020 08:05

I also took a pic of myself in my underwear to keep looking at to remind myself why I'm trying to lose weight!

JonHammIsMyJamm · 14/05/2020 08:19

Hi @vinotinto88Smile. 10lbs isn’t so much really, you’ll get there. I’ve got a similar amount to lose. I’m older than you and a bit taller. I’m usually around 8.5-9st but am 10 at the moment. It’s really uncomfortable for me. I appreciate that it wouldn’t be for a lot of people but I’m quite small framed (narrow hips, narrow shoulders, small wrists & ankles) and don’t carry any extra weight well at all. I look dumpy very quickly Hmm. I’m aiming to get to 9.5 first but would like to get to 9 really.

JonHammIsMyJamm · 14/05/2020 08:21

I’ve done the same thing, the unflattering pic. 18yo DD saw it on my phone and said ‘Mum, why’ve you got NUDES on your phone’ Shock Grin

Minnie123456 · 14/05/2020 08:33

1lb on but was expecting it tbh.

@vinotinto88 I did the same, although I put mine into my dropbox so no-one can see it, although because I have to log in I dont see it either lol Hmm

vinotinto88 · 14/05/2020 08:35

@JonHammIsMyJamm Haha the power of the nudes!
This is it I just feel realllllllly uncomfortable and whilst stuffing my face I kept saying "I'll sort it next week, I'll sort it next week" and because the diet starts Monday I would binge on Sunday.
So for now I'll stay starving and pooping and when I get to 9.5st I'll do the last 6-7lbs slowly.
I started doing fifteen minute HIIT videos on YouTube twice a day and trying to walk during telephone conferences with headphones 😂

Onthebrink67 · 14/05/2020 08:49

One on for me which is probably less than I deserve to be up as my head hasn’t been there recently. New day today though

HairyMaclary · 14/05/2020 09:12

1lb off for me today. Slow and steady... it’s a bit boring- I used to be able to loose loads when I was younger but each lb counts and even with only a 5lb total loss I feel much better.

meow1989 · 14/05/2020 09:23

135.8lbs today which I think is a lb down
Shocked actually as haven't been very strict (last 2 days lunch has been a ham and crisp sandwich and a bar of chocolate - no regrets!)
