16:8 does not feel like another shitty diet!. I managed to lose fat, have more energy and feel positive about life.

Hey,
I want to share my experience, I tried several diets in the past with little luck, I found them boring and I usually ended up caving in, binging on food and ending up back at square one.

However, I finally found the 16:8 fast really worked for me in losing weight.
I enjoy my food and more importantly I enjoy life without having to restrict myself anymore. Life is too short as they say!.

Weight loss can fill like a constant uphill battle, I know that feeling first hand. So, I would like to help where I can, let me know your struggles with the diet or what problems you have?. Happy to give tips or inspiration to others from my experience.

It is the little steps every day that add up to big results over time 😀. Let's all help and support one another!.

I don't especially need to lose weight but I would like more energy and to just basically to feel more well.

What are people's experiences of that?

Also, I think I could stick to it fairly easily by having breakfast at 11am and dinner at 6:30, but I often exercise first thing and it makes a real difference to how I enjoy that. If I've had nothing to eat I find it really hard, even just half a banana makes a huge difference.

I need to lose weight so thinking of trying this.

On your non-fast days do you just eat normal times? doesn't that make it harder to go back?

I need to lose weight for a family wedding in May ( fingers very firmly crossed!)

We are both starting on Monday. I think we will do a 16/8 and use SW meals too. We also intend to walk every day.

Can I not drink tea with milk in the morning though? If not, I feel motivated enough currently to drink green tea!

Just an update to my previous post. I have lost 9lbs to date and DH has lost 11lbs. We are walking like crazy and eating healthily.

Can I jump on board? I’ve started doing this this week alongside daily exercise, want to get back to where I felt comfortable and fit.

I am going to do this starting tomorrow. I am very inactive at the moment thanks to COVID and am stuck to the times the family eat or I will spend the whole day in the kitchen!
My biggest challenge will be the days where DD gets me up at 6am and I cannot eat until 4/5 hours later!
I am going to experiment with times I think. Tomorrow I will try 11-7pm. We usually eat at around half 5 because of the kids. I like a snack in the evening so hopefully this will curb that.

I've lost 31lbs since July and I have another 16- 23 to lose. There are FB groups that give fantastic inspiration. When Audible have their free offers, listen to Fast, Feast, Repeat or Don't Deny, Delay. And The Obesity Code. It really gives an insight into the science. I've never felt so good about my body, and I'm still overweight!

Well done, it is hard isn't it?

I just found a cake in the larder unopened. It is an Apple and Plum fruitcake from Chatsworth House Farm Shop. I had got rid of all the bad stuff and then I go and find this. I am having fantasies about eating it......

I'd like to know the science around it. I think I (will) have eaten 1700 calories today. Feels like too much to loose weight?

That said, Today was the third day for me and I am finding it much easier than a normal diet so if it works I will be delighted!
