About two years ago I lost 3 stone, healthy eating and exercising. I kept it off for 6 months, then life got messy (elderly parents) and almost 2.5 stone has gone back on.
So annoyed with myself, so started being sensible again yesterday, last straw was having to but clothes in big size having got rid of them and nothing fits Sad
Accountability here helps, so starting point 13-6

I'm really starting to see why people give up. Although I don't give up. My shape is definitely changing with the exercise so that's a plus. But still. This is loooooooong Sad

Right, basically this means war (with myself, not with you Orange Grin) I'm aiming for 2lb loss by Saturday. I'm going to cut out things like avocado, cheese and humous and see if that helps. It will reduce my food to pepper & cucumber for lunch, and lettuce, spinach tomatoes, cucumber and chicken for dinner. I CAN DO THIS!!!!

My aim was to lose a stone before school starts again and I've only got one more week to lose 4lbs. So 2lbs by Saturday and 2 more by Wednesday next week when we actually go back. I'm nervous!

Haha! I’m with you, my aim was to lose a stone by my birthday (this Sunday). If I can rely on a couple of pound being bloat then I may be able to get to 11.12 which will be the stone lost (if not I’ll aim for Wednesday too Grin). I haven’t actually had a week where I’ve been mega strict so I’ll do it for that extra push!! I’ll think of you when I’m eating my salads. We can do this Cocoloco!! Grin good luck and we’ll check in Saturday!

@Orange89 I've done it! 2lbs down for today so I'm at 12st 9lbs. Need to lose 2lbs more to hit the stone loss for Tuesday. I'm so surprised because I had a couple of cheat moments the last 2 days like eating a slice of cheesy garlic bread Blush 2 glasses of wine last night Grin so I wasn't expecting that! Hope you've had a good few days!

Well done cocoloco that’s great!! Grin. I hit 11.12 yesterday (a stone yay) but I also had two glass of wine and cheesy garlic bread yesterday as well as a box of malteasers Shock so was back to 12 today, it’s B-day tomorrow so I’m not going to deprive myself CakeWine but will reign it in Monday and will be happy if I can be back at 11.12 for Tuesday weigh in. Then it’ll be focusing on the next 6 weeks and getting the next stone off. We can do this !!

@Orange89 how did you get on? I didn't quite make the stone loss Sad I was 13lbs down yesterday. I managed 3lbs in the last week so not bad. We are going away in about 7 weeks so will aim for at least half a stone loss more by then. I'm definitely sticking with this! But it is really hard sometimes. Well done with your stone loss!!! Thats amazing Flowers x

@CocoLoco87 .. sorry for late reply, I lost my phone and didn’t have access to my mail! How are you getting on? I actually lost weight over my birthday as was ill then felt sorry for myself and ate my way back over 12 stone but have now resettled at 11.10lb . Going to go low on the carbs from now to try and shift the next half stone!

@Orange89 I've had a bad couple of weeks so just stuck on 12st 8lbs. Not put any on though so that's good. I think going to the gym is really key for me, but since school term has started I haven't been able to go as I've been at work, and too tired in evenings Sad

Well done for your loss! We're going away in half term so my goal is to lose half a stone by then.

Not gaining is the main thing, it can be very depressing. When I maintain I don’t mind as I just see it as a pause and I think your body resets and loses weight quicker if you have a break as it doesn’t think it needs to go into starvation mode so look at the positive. Gym is key for me too, I’m lucky as I’m still off work after having my baby so can go in the day otherwise I know I wouldn’t be going - there’s not enough time in the day!!

Yoohoo! @Orange89 are you still going? I keep meaning to update but tbh not a fat lot has happened (pun intended Grin)

I've been at 12st 5lbs for couple of months now. I'm pleased not to have put any on, but need a little push to lose a other stone and a half for summer. How are you doing?

So I'm down 1st 2lbs from when I started at 13st 7lbs. I look a lot better for it and feel better. But would like to lose a bit more. I haven't been in the gym for over 6 weeks so hopefully can get some childcare sorted in the New Year and fit in a couple of sessions.

Sorry @CocoLoco87 I’ve only just seen this for some reason!!

Well done for the weight loss that’s great!! I have also lost the excess weight and in fact a stone more than before I had my baby! I’m in maintence now and still fluctuate a bit but I try to balance out the calories in the week for the face stuffing at the weekend and it seems to be working Grin . How are you getting on now? Yes I need to get back in the gym, ive lost the weight but need to tone!!! X
