Right.

I have a year to go until my wedding and a dress that's about 6 inches too small!

I am finally stopping the lose/gain cycle and cracking on for good - anyone want to join?

I have quite a bit to lose:

Heaviest weight 19st 13.5 BlushSad

Current weight after losing and gaining on slimming world: 17st 4 (242lbs)

Goal weight: 12st
Height 5'8", dress size 18

I'm following a mostly low carb diet of 1500 cals a day, and aiming to go to the gym 3x a week for one cardio and two strength sessions.

I want to use this post to share motivation and it makes me accountable to myself 💪🏻
If you feel brave enough please tell me about yourself!

I did low carb/ high protein for a few months when we were TTC gravybaby. In some ways I did enjoy it but just found it too restrictive if I was trying to eat out at all (like Flyright says too!) and it was extra tricky as I'm vegetarian. At home I was fine with Quorn, cheese, eggs etc but anywhere else.....

Got very frustrated with MFP as it would NOT link to my Fitbit no matter what I did, and both apps blamed the other Angry at the moment I am nominally doing WW, my leader is lovely and already helped me through one crisis moment of "I'll just give it up and be fat forever" Sad

Before this year I was usually so healthy and energetic - must have spent last year stuffing my face to get to the weight I did, but at least I had some energy! This virus has really knocked me for six, I cannot get started again!!

Hey everyone!

Just checking in- how are we all?
I weighed in on Sunday and at 239 (so 3lbs loss yay!)

Also the "painters and decorators" have arrived this week and I've managed to keep on top of the incredible junk food cravings about 80% of the time, and I've been to the gym on a bank holiday Shock

Hoping this week will be another loss but if not, I'm aiming for consistency and the results will come! :)

I am still plodding away. 40 weeks until I am 50. I have bought new scales and was 235lbs this morning which is around 10lbs loss in 2 weeks.

Children back at school and well into the swing of the new term so this is making things easier. Weekends are more of a challenge as DH works away during the week and weekends tend to involve food and drink when he comes back.

I have a weekend away in 2 weeks time and would love to be 7lbs lighter by then.

Excellent @Belindabelle!!

Have you moved to Exante yet or still low carbing? Cracking loss, hopefully I'll be staying on your tail for a bit longer :)

Started on Exante last Monday but I have been having a wee bit of low carb food now and again. I plan to stick to packs during the week but maybe have some real food at weekends, especially when friends and family are about.

Well done Belinda and gravybaby 👏

I am just utterly, utterly shattered after six weeks with no childcare - can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to preschool starting again next week!! The DC will enjoy it, I'll finally have time to clean the house and think about my diet again...
