Chloe Madeley’s 4 Week Body Blitz

Hi,

I am considering buying Chloe Madeley’s book, it looks very good and isn’t a bad price at all on Amazon. However, I commute to work so was wondering what the recipes are like? Particularly for lunch and dinner. Are they the type of thing you can make and transport to work easily?

TIA! Xx

Thanks @elvisola I’ll have a look. I’ve got diet whey isolate which she says in her book is okay but the mixture just separates when heating, ends up like scrambled egg pancake!

Hobbes8 · 01/03/2018 19:59

I've only tried v simple recipes - stir frys, spag bol - all stuff I would cook anyway. I've ordered some whey protein and it turned up today so might try the pancakes and see what happens. It's quite expensive though, so I'd be annoyed to waste it!

It's been good having snow this week cos I've been working from home, which has made breakfasts easier.

3lb off as of this morning, and I've had rice with my dinner. Just got to leave the toasty warm fire and go work out now....urgh.

TwinkleStars15 · 02/03/2018 15:59

If anyone could send me the link for the video she did on how to make the pancakes I’d be grateful! Can’t find it anywhere....

Saz2007 · 02/03/2018 19:58

I've bought this book and I will be starting on Monday! Grin

Elvisola · 02/03/2018 22:00

I think the link for pancakes has been taken down, I can't find it. But she did say PHD diet whey, thick batter, hot pan, take your time don't rush it.

TwinkleStars15 · 03/03/2018 17:13

The problem is the batter isn’t thick with the measurements she uses, it’s very runny. And doesn’t cook, it just bubbles and separates. It’s very frustrating lol x

I've bought the book today. Got a few meals out next week so planning to start week commencing 19th. I'm going to write down each of the exercises on paper so I don't have to keep flicking through the book during the workouts and also plan my meals for each week. I don't eat avocado or nut butter so that's restricted a few meals. Anyone made the broccoli soup? Thinking I'll have that every lunch at work on low carb days.

MunchkinJess · 19/03/2018 06:28

Food prepped last night for the next 3 days ...day 1 of week 1 exercise done ...Christ that was hard I couldn't complete a full minute of each exercise and had to do some without jumping Grin

ChippyTea16 · 19/03/2018 11:22

Hi all, I started this plan today too, did the workout this morning and it was pretty brutal! Looking forward to getting stuck in tho, food looks ok and done a bit of prep just worried I might get bored of the food.

Mainly concerned about how much I weighed on the scales this morning so hoping for good results haha!

Anyone else starting today?

MunchkinJess · 19/03/2018 14:02

@ChippyTea16 I started today too ..I couldn't complete the full minute of each exercise and had to do a moderation of each half way through . Didn't expect it to be that hard lol

ChippyTea16 · 19/03/2018 14:18

Same here @MunchkinJess! I was panting the whole way through. Might make another thread on here with the start date if you fancy supporting each other?? And anyone else who is doing it of course!

I am defiantly glad I did the exercise this morning tho, just need to distract myself until dinner time!

MunchkinJess · 19/03/2018 15:52

@ChippyTea16 sure ...I need all the help I can get lol ...yea I got up at 5am to do mine ...with a 6 month old and a 4 year old no chance of doing it during the day and I am far too exhausted at night ...just hope I can stick to the food

imnottoofussed · 19/03/2018 21:15

I started today too. I only managed three sets of the exercises and that was one set with jumps and two sets just standard squats and lunges. I will have to try and make up for the missed exercises maybe on Saturday and Sunday . I just had a shower after the workout and walking down the stairs legs were jellyish.

Also I'm hungry. I had my afternoon snack this evening but that's made me hungrier Grin

I'm determined to keep going but worried if I stick to the food plan but don't manage all the exercise I'll end up fatter! My fitness pal has me at a lot 1700 calories today.

I've made soup for three days and have mixed up the other meals sausage tonight, steak tomorrow and stir fry Wednesday, so hopefully will be ok with the variety. Although I'm eating a lot of broccoli as it was three for £1 in Tesco Confused

MunchkinJess · 20/03/2018 10:33

@imnottoofussed the exercises are a lot harder than I expected . I didn't realise a minute could seem like an eternity!

I have checked the calories as I don't want to know lol I am just going to trust the process and hope it works . So far I have stuck to plan I have to say I do feel less bloated without the sugar and carbs etc

MunchkinJess · 20/03/2018 10:35

Forgot to add that the amount of water she wants you to drink is utterly crazy lol I managed just over 2 litres yesterday

imnottoofussed · 20/03/2018 11:53

I need to up my water intake too. Maybe that's why I was hungry yesterday. I had the yoghurt nuts and chocolate for breakfast today. Not sure I will repeat it! I wasn't too keen on the taste and also trying to grate the chocolate was a workout in itself Grin I gave up after a quarter of one square and chopped the rest.

ChippyTea16 · 20/03/2018 12:20

@imnottoofussed I drank the 4 litres of water and was still hungry yesterday. I just want to eat all the time! The breakfast shake is nice though and keep me full until about 11am.

@MunchkinJess I feel the same about the exercises! Hopefully we will be able to do the full minutes which will show fitness progress!

I’ve made another thread for those of us starting yesterday if you wanna swap tips and stuff on there! Smile

imnottoofussed · 20/03/2018 12:53

I'm on the new thread now

Ellieeccleston1983 · 06/06/2018 23:03

So I started the plan today. Got up at 6. Managed 3 reps of the excersises before my 3 little ones woke. Stuck to the eating plans and drunk lots. I’m lying in bed with cramp in my legs and feel so hungry!!! Where am I going wrong? Any tips for keeping this going for four weeks? Don’t really want to lose weight, just tone up and lose the wobble. I’m 8st 12 at mo and think I have fast metabolism. Do you think I could get away with more food? Don’t want to jeopardise my results but don’t think I would have the energy to keep this up 😓😬 x

eagleflies · 06/06/2018 23:16

What are the exercises like on this plan? Can you do them at home? Do you need any equipment? How long is a workout?

Ellieeccleston1983 · 07/06/2018 06:01

Excercises day one are 4 different excersises (no equipment needed) each for 1 minute. Total 4 minutes then repeat 6 times. 30 mins inc warm up and cool down stretch’s.
