Giving up sugar for January, maybe longer

I have decided to try giving up sugar.

Anyone else tried this?

I am going to continue eating fresh fruit, but not dried or juice.

No processed foods containing sugar.

And obviously no fizzy drinks - but don't drink those anyway.

Anyone tried doing this? Can I have honey on my porridge?

I think dry wine & vodka OK?

Anyone got any advice to share? Thanks

Well that's good Huckleberry. Hope you enjoyed your egg. A little of what you fancy once in a while is fine, I think, as long as you don't pick it up as a habit again.

I lost my lb again, so am back to where I was pre holiday. I've been as good as I can on this trip, but not been easy food wise in this hotel. The captain bought us all a Hotel du Chocolat egg each and I even refused mine! I go on a girly weekend in a month's time, I'd like to make it to a stone and a half by then.
