I spent two weeks focusing hard on losing some weight, and lost 8 pounds.
Then I relaxed for a week. I didn't stuff my face, just ate more than fish and vegetables. It's ALL come straight back on. Back to my obese default weight.
And this always happens to me. It seems I can deprive myself and lose weight, or eat what I like within reason and be fat.
There doesn't seem to be any 'way of life' diet that appeals to me. I like carbs, so there's no point kidding myself I can live with high protein. Is there any way forward?
