I want to lose half a stone before Christmas. I always find it very difficult. Will you come and support me/ join me?

Hi my weigh in status is that I have lost one pound! so that's 11stone 2 now.. Am exercising still though not today.. Diets been good today. Soup at lunch. Prawns with tomatoes, gherkins and a little salad cream also a brown cob.. Resisted snacking this evening just had a few cherry tomatoes and water.
Meal plan for tomorrow - porridge -breakfast. Lunch - soup?, Dinner- sausage casserole. Snacks- banana. Roll on next Wednesdays weigh in :-)

Hi I'm down 2 lb so happy days. Food today was bowl of cereal , lunch was brown roll with ham , spring onion and slice of cheese, yoghurt. Dinner was pasta and bolognese . And then I was really bad and had a kit kat. Oh I had a satsuma during the day too.

Hi guys, can I join in? I am 5'11 and thought I weighed around 15stone. I went to the gym last night and weighed myself at 15st 8lb, 8lb on in 6 months because of a foot injury (excuses!) :( I want to try and loose that by Christmas and then more (2.5 stone) after the new year! I am cutting back snacks and going to the gym / swimming 4 times a week.

Well got some sort of a flu thing with sore throat so haven't eaten much in the last 24 hours and sweated buckets so this morning I was down almost 2lbs on yesterday ?? obviously I know that's only water weight and will be back on in no time at all.

Hi windy you are very welcome on here. Two bambino so feel awful today , sore throat and ears. It hurts when I swallow. I feel like crying as I have too much to do to be sick. I have just dosed myself with paracetamol and will again tonight. I am behind in work and I do some private work which I promised I would do. My house is no where near ready for Xmas and I have zero shopping done . I know this is weight loss thread but feeling very stressed .

I've just eaten a small bowl of Pringles. I've come on here instead of reaching for more. I'll make myself a cup

oh fidelma at least it was only a small bowl. whenever i eat pringles i just eat straight from the tube, take a handful and walk away. then go back ha ha

lovetheleaves there is plenty of time to be getting ready for christmas yet dont be stressing over that. one thing at a time. i still feel awful. had so much packed into today that i had to cancel. nothing life altering but its disappointing isnt it. im taking disprin at least it gives me a few hours relief. lymph nodes are very swollen hopefully it will pass in a few days for us both.

Thanks all , feel bit better now due to copious cold n flu remedies but suspect I'm just delaying it . Anyway busy morning , have taken a half day today. Did a little shopping and went and had a roast chicken lunch in the carvery. No starter and no dessert. Loads to do for the rest of the evening so hopefully won't have time to eat much. Twobambino hope you feel better soon.

Ive lost another pound so I'm now 8 stone ?? (13 pounds ) yipee. Still a bit flabby in areas even tho do loads of exercise so I think ill have to keep going with the weight loss for another few pounds. 3 weeks to Christmas everyone

Hi all I was only down 0.5 lb . Still it's better than an up . My friend joined my class and she's fierce competitive and I find that sends me the other way and I start eating junk food. Need to reign it on now. I am determined to ignore all the tins of sweets now between now and Xmas.

I didn't weigh myself this week. However I have continued to be careful.
I do feel slimmer. (I did lose a lot after my bug but that has probably come back on hence why I didn't weigh in)
This morning was hard as I had 8 children in the house due to a sleepover. They were having pain au chocolate and hot chocolates. Hard to avid but I drank lots of tea then made myself tomatoes on toast.
I'm feeling please that I got over that hurdle.
I am feeling hungry though :(

Had a bit of a bad day yesterday . Ate way more than usual. Need to limit the damage now today and not let it settle. Have to go into work for awhile to cover for someone so at least it will keep me occupied although I had planned on wrapping presents today.

Just weighed myself. 3lb back on!!!! Gutted. I have been very careful. Back to 9.9 and feeling hungry.
(I did just start my monthly)
Will try and stay strong and go for a Wednesday weigh in.
Feeling very dispondant.

Hi is it too late to join you all? I need to lose weight ASAP currently gaining rapidly :(
I'm 5.10 I was 11.2 but am now up to 11.7 all my work clothes look awful and really uncomfortable really need to lose 3-4 pounds in next couple of weeks

Oh fidelma don't beat yourself up too much its probably fluid retention. Hopefully Wednesday will be better for you. And 9 .9 is great anyway isn't it.
I have had a food filled weekend ?? oops oh well. Back on track tomorrow

I haven't even entertained the idea of weighing myself yet. Have had an awful week food wise. Had a dominos Wednesday, tgi Fridays Thursday, more chocolate thank willy wonkas factory on Friday, mcdonalds yesterday and A ton of crap today. I don't think I'm motivated for this lol

my loss this week barely registered on the scales. 1/4 lb ah well. its better than being up. have been doing very little if any exercise and eating rubbish coz im a bit under the weather so im surprised to have lost anything at all.

hope everyone else is doing better than me keep up the good work ladies.

I'm still here. I stayed focused this week and increased my exercise. I'm down to 9.6 which is 5lb off since we started. Going to keep going. It's not easy with all the Christmas nibbles.
I've found a website that counts calories and exercise. It's been very helpful. It's called weight lose recourses. I got 24 hours free but I was then hooked so I've signed up it's about £9 a month. It's worked for me this week though. It really motivated me to exercise. And eat less because you clearly see when you are over your quota.

Only just found this thread. I started dieting on Monday and am down 2 lb already. As it is only 11 days to Christmas, another 5 lb would be too much, so I am going to aim for just 3 lb.
