I want to lose half a stone before Christmas. I always find it very difficult. Will you come and support me/ join me?

I've now got 4 weeks to lose this annoying half stone which is ALL on my belly. I'm already signed up to MFP so will stick to 1200-1400 cals a day, but I also use a Fitbit so I can see exactly how many cals I'm using a day and adjust my food. I already do 3 exercise classes a week, so I'll stick with that. I'm really going to cut down on the wine too, as it's full of calories obviously, but it also makes me eat more crap when drinking, and also the day after too.

I've had chippy chips for lunch today - but I'm starting tomorrow anyway Blush

I weigh 11 st 3 pounds and am 5 foot five inches.. Since end of aug have lost 9 pound so slow but steady... its v hard, I do two classes a week and have cut out a lot of the rubbish I was chomping. Have cut back on alcohol but refuse to stop totally..
I want to lose half a stone also.. am eating a lot of pickled courgettes, v low in calories :-) Are having a weekly weigh in ??

Can I join, I just need to ditch this last half stone to be at my pre child weight.

It would be lovely to be super slim at Christmas. I just need to loose the mushy middle.

I excercise loads, I eat lots and drink, so a bit less food and less wine is the answer I think.

I was doing really well and had lost 4lbs on Friday but have had a disastrous weekend and totally pigged out putting it all back on again.

I need more will power to stop eating rubbish!! Feeling fed up and depressed tonight.

Headspaceneeded just start again from now. We've all been where you are just now. Just start again you will feel better in 24 hours.
newstartforme a weigh in would be a good idea. This group started on Wednesday so let's make it then. Also Christmas Eve is a Wednesday.
I often eat for the sake of it at night. I am trying to be strong and say how good I'll feel in the morning if I don't eat after dinner. I have drunk a lot of tea instead.
Monday is usually a good slimming day good luck everyone. We are all doing it x

Im in. Im 10st 7 and would love to be a solid 10st for xmas. My diet is generally good anyway but the last few weeks i have been snacking all the time and haven't been to the gym.

Today I did the 30day shred as soon as i got up. For breakfast I had two scrambled eggs, 1 rasher of grilled bacon and half a banana. At 11am ill have carrot and coriander soup, at lunch (1pm) i will have home made chilli made with turkey mince, no rice or anything. When I get home (4pm), I'll have a protein shake and for tea I will have beef stir fry (no noodles or rice).

And I will eat that everyday for a month lol.
I was running 5k every morning but DPs new job entails weird shifts so he's not always around to have the DC. He has a day off tomorrow though so I will go for a run before school.

Iristutu I too exercise loads but I also eat too much

I'm in too. Doing dukan as got really bad thrush from all the pills following surgery. Understand cutting sugar out really helps. Can't exercise for another 10 weeks so using this time to sort out the eating habits....good luck everyone.

Start weight 12.7. Aim 11.10 for Xmas

Me please! I'm 40 in April and would ideally like to lose 2 stone by then- sounds unlikely but never mind! Half a stone by Christmas would be a great start.

I've got MFP but really need some willpower! Grin

I'd like to loose 1/2 stone before Xmas. I look like I'm pregnant - effect of being overweight and having a 10lb baby has left my stomach muscles in a bad place. But 1/2 stone would make quite a bit of difference...

I haven't really exercised today (20 min stroll with the dog only) as I have a horrid cold.
I've eaten carefully. Baked beans and 2 rashes if bacon. Salad with green beans and 2 eggs. Mum made tea of homemade chips! (I only had a few) meatballs and lots of veg. I had a bag if popcorn 120cals and an apple.
It sounds more when I write it down.
I haven't snacked tonight. The Wednesday weigh in is keeping me focused.

Hey all. I did a nice walk yesterday but have had busy day today. Ate well though and shared a twix bar with ds so I only had one finger. Have been trying hard all weekend so hopefully be down by wed or thurs.

Did a program on the treadmill 30 mins 3.5km topped it up with 5mins on the bike 2.15km not much but better than nothing. Eating wise not too good today. Have had about 1l of water so need to drink more and will dry body brush when I go for a shower just trying to get my energy back.

Is everyone weighing in tomorrow? I don't think ill have lost anything but hopefully it will spur me on for next week.

Batcrapcrazy I like the sound of your menu. I think ill have eggs for brekkie tomorrow.

Ive lost 1lb. I will be into the 8 stones next week I cannot wait. But I have been here before and it feels like I keep losing and gaining the same 4 pounds all the time.

Anyone else weigh in?

Im going to weigh on sunday i think. Ive stuck to my menu although i did have a hot chocolate at 8pm last night. Going to the sports shop after school today to get some new running gear. Its too cold for shorts now. So hopefully ill go for a run tomorrow morning. Haven't run in over a month though so Im dreading it!
