Anyone using myfitnesspal???

Hi,

does anyone use myfitnesspal and would like another friend on there? I've just started using the app and doing the couch to 5k but would really like some weight loss friends for support. I did really well last year when I was going to the Rosemary Conley classes but I'm working evenings now and don't have time - it's nice to be able to chat about things and share tips but most of my real life friends are sickeningly skinny . I'm rugbymum2013 on MFP if anyone wants to add me (I'm just finding my way around the site so not quite sure how it all works yet - is that all you need?).

How do you search people on the phone app, the only options I get is to search contacts or Facebook

I think it is easier on a laptop-you find member.

On the app I think you enter the persons MFP name instead of their email address.

I will add you just now then you can add anyone else from my friends-they are all Mnetters.

Hi all :) I'm going to go through the thread and try to add you all. If anyone wants to add me my username is- ZoeC1990.

I've been on MFP again for 13 days and have lost 7lbs :)

Off to add people now.

I'm on week 4 and lost 8lbs. I can feel a difference. 2 more weeks before I do my measurements again.

Where can I find the list of thousands of food items that are seemingly already listed on MFP? and
Where is the scan facility in the app?

On the app you go to the diary page, add food. This opens a page which features the barcode scanner and also lets you search for foods.
