Hi,

does anyone use myfitnesspal and would like another friend on there? I've just started using the app and doing the couch to 5k but would really like some weight loss friends for support. I did really well last year when I was going to the Rosemary Conley classes but I'm working evenings now and don't have time - it's nice to be able to chat about things and share tips but most of my real life friends are sickeningly skinny Wink. I'm rugbymum2013 on MFP if anyone wants to add me (I'm just finding my way around the site so not quite sure how it all works yet - is that all you need?).

Have lost 7lb so far. Have been quite strict with myself and found it easy. Just need to remember to drink water when not at work more.

Hi Everyone,

I'm on MFP have been for a while. l lost 50lb over 2 years. have put a bit back on. But still log everyday. currently doing a vlcd as part of research study at work. still have about 2-3 stone to loose to reach main goal. My diet will return to normality in 12 weeks.
happy to have more friends. name is same as here without numbers.

very low calorie diet. its below the recommend 1200 minimum for women. should only be done with approval of a doc.
Finding it quite boring. meal replacement shakes and soups all time.

Bleurgh I measured myself today. 2" on my hips 1.5" on my waist. I dread to think what I weigh.

Fair enough, I haven't actively restricted my diet. Yet. Can't afford to go to the gym at the moment (might come into more money as of next week) and I have a friend staying with me at the moment so it's a bit boozy at times.

Got to start doing something. It's driving me insane.

kingbeat- I cant go to the gym and ive just cancelled my running club membership. Had a baby 4 months ago and its near impossible to get out of the door.

I have however been doing a mix of 30 Day shred, Davina Fit in 15 and Fitness blender online videos in my back room!
Alongwith reducing calorie intake I have lost 5lbs over two weeks.

Thanks tired. I wish I could use the excuse of new baby but she's 4.5 now so I don't think it's acceptable!! Wink

I'm just being lazy and having a moan. I've made some beef stew today that works out to 128 calls a serving, I'm going to batch Cook and going to go swimming tomorrow too.

I've been on and off cerrazette for the past 6 months but it made me feel odd and bloated so I've come off it again to see if it'll help. I do feel loads better.

Lack of funds have played a part in gym attendance and no child care means anything I do for myself is during school hours 2 days a week but that's ok. I feel a lot better now I've had my rant GrinGrin

I was stuck at home when I started trying yo loose weight. husband worked away m-f so homr alone with two under 2+full time job. Lost first stone doing workouts on wii fit!

used it for all sorts. dance programmes are good. just put the effort in no half hearted ness. I wore a heart rate monitor to measure cals burned 300-500 a night. Over a week that's a 1lb loss.

king- Fitness Blender online videos are free so no excuse! get one on!

I really cant get out to exercise (unless you count 'walking the dog') so doing home dvds and fitness blender have actually been a godsend.

Get on it!

So it's as i thought, all the weight I list last year is back on. However, I've done a 50 minute brisk walk (instead of the bus) to where I needed to go and a 30 minute swim now for another half hour brisk walk and I should getting that metabolism working again!!! Grin

I feel a bit better this week. Hormones have settled back down again and going for a swim last week helped a lot.

Hopefully after tomorrow I'll have a bit more free time and money to go back to the gym and pool on a more regular basis.

How is everyone doing? That is me 3 weeks in now and 8lbs down.

Hoping for 1-1.5lbs this week. MFP really helping keeping me on track. Not sure how accurate I am though and maybe underestimate my portion size sometimes for homemade meals. Might try using smaller dinner plate! It Defintely curbs my snacking habits and late night eating though.
