And anyone else who wants to join in. The idea of this thread is a way to record weightloss, motivate each other, discuss which methods if any we are using to lose weight and give the occasional kick up the bum.

Right you lot. I was going to wait until new year to start this thread but I think that if I'm going to have my head in the right place to start, I need your help now. I haven't weighed yet I'll do that on the 1st but I think I probably have 2 1/2 stone to lose. Last time I had 3st to lose so I'm seeing that as a postitive.

So, are any of you still out there? Who'd like to join me? Xmas Grin

Bad day. Dh opened a Malteasers Teasers bar and I ate half. My will power went out of the window. I'm going to have to make up for it tomorrow. Blush

Those teaser bars are no big deal! Whole bar is only about 160 cals!

Went for gym review, trainer said I'm 'training like an athlete' now and has increased my weights by whopping amounts! He also said I was in 'great shape' with 'great leg form' blush blush nsv!!!

Well I told him the crosstrainer bored me to death so now it's 20mins on the treadmill in increasing speeds and gradients, then chest pressing 40kg and same for low row.

Bicep curling 20kg and same for triceps, single leg presses up to 65kg! Can't remember the shoulder press weight then some ab work with a 12kg kettlebell. My whole routine is now down to about 45 mins which is much better!

Spinning weds (done) metafit thurs, kettlercise Saturday and this new routine mon night, thurs afto, and Friday night...

Can I have a Cadbury egg n spoon that's in the cupboard??? Only at 380 net Cals atm...

Actually I saw a great idea posted on fb. Take slices of banana, sandwich with peanut butter and coat in dark choc for a protein tactic treat

Ohh IMST I recorded that but haven't watched it yet. It was good then?

Not too bad today, only managed a 15 minute abs workout but figure it's better than nothing, and good going as had to bribe DD to manage that Blush . Food wise OK. Had more calories than normal by having yoghurt, nuts and raisins for snack this afternoon rather than the usual rice cakes, but it's kept me off the sneaky chocolate snacking as it's kept me full up and has got more nutrition.

It seemed scientifically sound, basically it's difficult to eat far too much fat or sugar, but foods containing both fat and sugar (worst ratio 50:50) are palatable and calorific. The combo somehow bypasses the body's "stop eating" signals leading to weight gain.
Advice was to lead an active lifestyle and avoid processed foods, especially those containing high fat and sugar together.

Hello all,

Back to insanity after a week off and it was tough! You lose fitness so quickly don't you (although hopefully will gain it back quickly). Also did a cycle trip with DD on the child seat behind me. not that far (maybe 4 miles) but all adds in the pot. Very hungry though so eating more than I should, but hopefully worked it off. Planning family trip out for tomorrow...Hope everyone doing well.

Happy Monday everyone. Sorry I've been AWOL, rl got in the way a bit. I've spent the weekend sorting out dd who had a drama competition. she won both her classes. Grin

Food hasn't been bad but not great either. It's a maintain this week.

How are you all getting on? It looks like it's been quiet on here.

I've been bad this weekend. I did go to kettlercise on Saturday morning, but I've eaten like a pig. never logged a bite on MFP and didn't weigh this morning...

Had a streaming cold all weekend, didn't really move off the sofa so no exercise at all.
On the plus side, my appetite went so I lost 2lb, back to my lowest weight of 8st 5.
