Hey wellies curry sounds yum. Well done to have eaten so lightly.

hazel really great going on drinking less. What quals you getting?

Emilythornesbff · 05/08/2013 09:09

Fasting today.
Need it.

Hazelbrowneyes · 05/08/2013 10:17

Morning!

I?m feeling good today, despite a small hangover (doh). I?m ahead of the days schedule at work and I?m motivated. Odd.

Emily I plan on getting Sage certified by the end of the year. It?ll help if I ever need to find another job. I?m then considering doing accounting qualifications or heading back to the OU to finish my degree. Good luck with the fast today.

The weekend totally didn?t go to plan. Saturday we went tile shopping (still no closer to making a decision) and then headed to my Mums and ended up spending most of the afternoon there.

Saturday:
B ? none
L/D ? burger and chips from a burger van. I?m slightly ashamed.
S ? cheese and biscuits, ½ bag of kettle chips, half a bottle of wine

Sunday we spent at home. I got loads of washing done, the chooks cleaned out & the garden tidied. Then met some friends at the pub.

Sunday:
B ? bacon and egg
L ? none
D ? (deep fried) chips and onion rings Blush
S ? Pringles, cheese and biscuits, 600ml of prosecco (very exact because I had 3 x 200ml bottles!)

I have a hangover. Couldn?t figure out why but I?m guessing the lack of a substantial dinner is probably the cause.

Today will be much better.
B ? ½ pink grapefruit
L ? mugshot
D ? roast chicken with salad
S ? I have a breakfast bar and some silverskin onions with me incase I get peckish later.

Tonight we?re off to the pub but I?ll stick to soft drinks. I?m going to make time to exercise too.

Hi FRs. feel crap this morning. couldn't get to sleep until gone 1 this morning, but I have to get up at 6 now due to new work pattern. Am shattered. Hopefully I'll sleep well tonight! Must go, DD has woken up.

Hazelbrowneyes · 07/08/2013 12:22

Where are you all? Sad

lego sorry you?re so shattered x

Monday:
B ? ½ pink grapefruit
L ? mugshot
D ? roast chicken with salad
S ? breakfast bar, silverskin onions, ½ tomato & olive focaccia with camembert on top (drool)

I?ve decided to start using MFP again. Mondays calories were around the 1270 mark. It seems a bit on the low side for what I had so I?m not taking it as gospel.

Yesterday:
B ? none
L ? roast chicken with salad
D ? Gujarati chicken with pilau rice (rice shared with DH), ¼ of garlic naan and ½ chana massala Blush
S ? Quavers, watermelon
E ? oh yes people, you?re not seeing things?I actually exercised!! Only 15 minutes on X-trainer but it was a start!

Yesterday is apparently coming in at 1500 calories but I?ve struggled to find accurate calories for dinner.

So far this week I?ve had no alcohol. My knee is killing me after yesterday but I?m hoping more regular exercise will help.

Today I haven?t had breakfast (bad nights sleep so got up late), I?ve got a mugshot for lunch, no idea what we?ll have for dinner. Something with leftover chicken I guess. Snackwise, I?ve already had a bag of mini cheddars (doh) and I?ve got breakfast bar, melon and hard boiled egg here if I want it later.

I noticed a lump in my breast last night ? bright red with a lovely red line going up one of my veins. Painful all night, less red but bigger this morning. I?ve had similar before (ended up going to OOH because I was in so much pain, I couldn?t even put a bra on) so I think it?s probably a cyst or an abscess again. Boo. I?m going to get a doctors appointment this week. I?m being a bit of an idiot over it because the last time I had a cyst, I was put on horrendous ABs which made me feel so nauseous and I?m sort of wanting to delay getting them again as I?m on a ?party boat? Friday night and I suffer from seasickness anyway ? I could do without feeling even worse than normal (plus, I?d quite like a drink and I couldn?t drink on the last lot of Abs Blush). Equally though, I?m in a reasonable amount of discomfort and won?t enjoy the night if I?m in pain. Ho hum.

Hope you?re all ok xxx

Hazelbrowneyes · 07/08/2013 14:23

OMG, have just had another look... I think it's a bite. I now have a prominent lump coming to the surface. Weep. Why won't the bitey things leave me alone?!

Emilythornesbff · 07/08/2013 17:26

Poor lego you've had quite a run of feeling low. Have you been to the GP? Hope you're feeling better. But that prolonged lack of sleep is tough.

hazel your last two days of food look good. Very few cals I would say.
If the lump is itchy it's likely a bite. If not, probably an abscess or boil.
Grin fun. Not.

Fasted Monday. V good.
Yesterday I ate three square meals but had extra ice cream and crisps after dinner. Blush
Mini fast today. So no bf or lunch but about to have spag Bol with salad and garlic bread.

O&DFRs.

Hazelbrowneyes · 07/08/2013 18:46

em it's not itchy. It's still a lump under the skin (have had the chance to have a proper look now I'm not at work Grin) its sore to touch and feels like its throbbing.

Mmm, spag Bol. We're having that tomorrow night. Tonight was chorizo & pasta in a tomato sauce with focaccia. Yum! Oh and had a boiled egg as a snack. Apparently 1450 calories today. Planning to do 1st day of 30 day shred tonight. Bit scared!

Emilythornesbff · 07/08/2013 20:58

Ouch. Sounds like an abscess in a duct. Or a cyst. Off to the GP!
Happy shredding.

Dinner was yummy. But I had 2 mini magnums! 2 I tell you! Angry Blush

RubyGoat · 07/08/2013 22:00

Hazel poor you! that sounds really painful! I had an abcess on my breast about a year ago, it sounds just the same. The red line isn't a good sign though.

Emily it's just a bad spell I'm tired that's all. Getting used to new shift pattern at work, & worried about DH as he's still in a lot of pain with his hernia. His assessment is soon though so it should be sorted soon, I hope. It's hard, seeing him struggling to carry DD.

B small bowl of porridge with whole milk
L none
D Ratatouille & garlic bread.

I do use MFP, but mostly just for the weight loss tracker. I did used to use the calorie counter but it took ages to find & log everything on my tiny phone so I stopped.

Weekdays are going to be a struggle for me to fit 3 meals in TBH, as I leave at 7.30 & get back at 1, with a 2k walk each way, so I will struggle to get breakfast. The other 3 days I leave at 11.45 & get home at 6, so I will miss lunch. I probably could manage it but I would feel too full to walk to work after, which
I really enjoy, & it's a lot cheaper than the gym. moment. Grin

RubyGoat · 07/08/2013 22:06

Ps apologies for the random bit at the end of that. stupid phone.

Where has everyone gone anyway?

Bakingnovice · 07/08/2013 23:24

I'm over here! Lego hope your shift pattern settles quickly and you get used to it.

Hazel - you poor thing. Hate bites. Well done for exercising.

Emily - I bow down to you. You've lost loads and kept your mini magnum habit up all the way!

As for me, am v proud to report I finished the c25k programme and now run 5k three times a week. Body much leaner but my super long plateau is still hanging in there. I've decided come next week it's strict CC to lose this last stone. Then onto 5:2 to maintain. I'm so jealous of any posts about weight loss. Ooh, could right do with a magnum right now......

Hazelbrowneyes · 08/08/2013 08:30

Hurrah! Good to see you back!

Baking A huge congratulations for completing C25K and continuing with the running. Grr to the plateau though.

Lego 4k walk a day? Go you!! MFP now have a barcode scanner so you scan the packet and it automatically logs the calories.

Emily Grin I love your obsession with the mini magnums.

Lump is still here but not as red as yesterday. I?m going to call GP tomorrow if it?s not gone so I can go through triage as it?s an easier system. The results from my blood test came back all clear so we?re none the wiser as to why I keep getting tingling in various parts of my body.

Yesterday:
B ? none
L ? sweet and sour noodle mugshot
D ? chorizo and pasta in tomato sauce with focaccia
S ? Mini cheddars, hard boiled egg, cereal bar.
E ? 30 day shred, level 1, day 1.

Roughly 1270 calories yesterday, not including what I gained back from exercise. Another day without alcohol and I managed to do the shred. I?m so unfit Sad but determined to sort myself out. Something has clicked in my head and it?s more than just wanting to lose weight now ? I want to be fit and healthy too. Oh and I looked at the success stories on MFP and saw the results people have gained from doing the shred & decided I wanted some of that for myself! Grin

I slept well last night and I?ve woken up this morning full of energy. DH has asked me if we can blitz the housework tonight as we?re out most of the weekend and I immediately agreed (as I see it as more exercise). He was most shocked.

Today:
B ? 2 slices of watermelon
L ? chicken and stilton salad
D ? spag bol
S ? silverskin onions, cereal bar (hoping to just leave it at that!)
E ? planning on 30 day shred, level 1, day 2.

Hazelbrowneyes · 08/08/2013 11:17

Ugh, scrap that. I've just wasted 260 calories on a bag of crisps. Why do I have no willpower?! Angry

Emilythornesbff · 10/08/2013 17:57

Hey FRs.
baking your running is so impressive.
hazel I am scared of shred. Well done.

RubyGoat · 12/08/2013 07:49

Hello where is everyone?

Not had a very good weekend, I fear I will not have lost anything. Maybe a gain... too scared to look!

RubyGoat · 12/08/2013 10:32

Well, no change. still 10st 1lb. I suppose at least I didn't put anything back on. Need to start being a bit more strict, I've let my portion sizes creep up & have been eating till I feel over full again. Very naughty. Sad Angry

Emilythornesbff · 12/08/2013 17:18

Hi lego well done for weighing. And for not gaining.
I have been awful. I usually fast on a Monday. Today I have stuffed my face with toast and chocolates Blush. I am so tired (wakeful dd and busy family stuff) and can't muster the mental energy for fasting or healthy eating.
So ashamed. Grin. I have DH's niece staying this week so I feel (excuse alert) it's a bit too much effort to fast. I think having to think about food all the time for guests is too much for me when I'm not eating. I will have to get a fast day in this week.
I am hoping my confession will help me get back on track. Really don't want to go back to where I was.
Hey ho.
