Anyone else doing slimming world?

Hi all, I joined slimmig world yesterday as I finally ready and motivated to get this weight off. Anyone else? Is there a support thread for those following slimming world? As I couldn't see one on here. If not anyone interested in helping to support each other here?

Badroly its my favourite takeaway but its about 11.5 syns so totally off limits, luckily its almost as good homemade!

I lost 2.2lbs this week which takes my 8 week total up to 1 stone 6.5lbs, so close to that 1 and half stone! It also means I'm half way to target. Quite pleased since I had a total off day on Saturday.

By some miracle I lost 3.5 (so 1.5 I put on last week and 2 more Grin). This has tipped me over 1.5stone loss AND under 15stone for first time since dd1 was born almost 12 years ago!!!

Fingers crossed tomorrow for a loss, I will be disappointed with another sts week (or worse).

Today...

B - fruit and yogurt
S - alpen bars (heb) and fruit
L - Caesar salad with salmon. Not much choice at work thing and this was the best of a bad bunch. Taken the Parmesan as a hea and syn-ed the dressing and left the croutons!
D - pasta with 'free' veggie sauce.

Lunch - chicken breast & fruit
Tea - ham, poached egg & SW chips
Supper - mini 'pizzas'

Treat - couple of chocs from the box DS got me for Xmas. Mmmmmm

Should take me to about 7 syns altogether for the day.

I have tried hard today too, i love reading what your all eating. I have had today:
Breakfast:greek muller light and a banana sliced in it
A cup of coffee, 1 sweetner bit of semi milk
Lunch: Homemade red lentil, potato and carrot soup with one slice of Wholemeal bread.
A n apple, Cup of hot water through the day then for tee i had.....
Chicken breast served in a brown bap, ainsley harriet roasted veg cous cous (about half the packet), a corn on the cob, a beetroot and about 4 slimming world wedges.

How does that sound then? Later on i will probably have another fruit muller. I need to bore you with my daily eating so someoen can point out where i am going wrong Grin.

Back from my group. I've lost 3.5lbs this week!!!! Grin

Did not expect that as my last weigh in was at a morning group, this was obviously after a day of eating and drinking. Very, very pleased :)

Your soup sounds lush NoYou (I think - arsing phone!) I look at the lentils and whatnot if I'm shopping but never buy them as I've thrown so many away over the years through having no idea what to do with them!

I like reading what everyone's eaten too for ideas.

Today so far:
B - bran flakes (heB) & milk (heA) Shock, black coffee.
L - (I was soooo hungry but circumstance meant I ate late with no chance for snacking Hmm) mug shot followed by 2apples & 1 banana with yogurt.
S - plain Pom bears (4.5 syns) before yr7 parent's evening Confused
T - just had 3 slices of leftover Lidl 4 cheese pizza that my friend fed the kids while I was at parents evening. Need to work out the syns but it will be 3/8 of the pizza. Chamomile tea.

Tesco man has just been though so might rustle up a ham & mush omlette with salad once all the dc are in bed Smile

with red lentils i just shake a pile in and boil for ten then simmer for about twenty with the rest of the stuff as unlike others they don't need soaking .

Hello all. Checking in, had a week away then a really busy week at work. WI this morning (usually tues night but was at work until 10 so that didn't happen). Hooray, another 1 lb off. I am now on a very slow but sure drive to lose 1lb a week. I have 38 lb to go to get to a 25 bmi. I have lost 23lb so far so am some way into this.....

Today not a heathy day

B: mugshot and tea(there are mitigating circumstances)
L: lots of fruit but two quarter size tuna sandwiches and a tuna wrap ( no idea on syns and don't want to know really)
D: carpaccio, rocket and Parmesan, cuttlefish and tomato linguine, a lot of white wine. Small mouthfuls of delicious Italian carta de musica. It was DS's birthday so can't really stint too much.

Hoping for one more lb next week. At this rate will be healthy weight in about 9 months time. Or; by Xmas!!!!! Bring it on.

Hi everyone

Some great losses we are all doing so well. My weigh in tomorrow as I should be at work providing my little girl is still not throwing up Sad. I should have weighed monday but was off work so feel like its been ages since I stepped on the scales. When I started I was 14.5 and at the mintute I am 13.4 I so cannot wait to go in to the 12st bracket.

Thanks Blondes - I guessed it might be about 15 syns by looking at other pizzas. I ended up having another mug shot last night instead of making an omelette. I have this horrid cough and just feel drained at the moment Hmm

Good day so far though - usual breakfast, a black coffee and I'm waiting for my lunch to cool - jacket with cottage cheese and a lovely crispy salad with multicoloured cherry tomatoes.

Tonight we are having pasta of some sort - possibly a bake so I can make it this afternoon and just reheat. Will aim for low/no syns there!

Hi all - I have not dropped out honest!! Well a little bit I've been on Holiday to Tenerife was lovely came back and put on 1 1/2 pounds but am unusually ok about it - was even thinking I was looking forward a bit to getting back on teh slimming world wagon ! It made the holiday less of a chore for me no beating myself up about what I am/am not eating tried to get my healthy extras in shame I added Chorizo to the cheese and butter to the bread though Blush

A bit Sad that I didnt feel confident enough to keep getting in and out of the pool /generally exposing myself but we are looking at going away to the Canaries next year aswell and that is something to aim for. At last weigh in 11th Feb had lost 1 1/2 to bring me down to 13st 13 like you laughalot cannot wait to get you into the 12 stone bracket.

Have also just bought Zumba Core which I will give a little go tonight.

B: Yoghurt & Loadsof Fruit
L: 3 x Ryvita (HEX B) 4 Blue Cheese Laughing Cow Light (HEX A) Toms and Salad
D: Cous Cous Salad, Sweet Chilli Sausage (9 syns) balsamic roasted peppers and toms.

Other Syns: Coffee from machine no idea am allocating 6 as is nice and creamy !!

Weigh in today I lost 3lbs! It's the most I've lost in one week so far and I've hit my 1 stone award yay! So happy right now. Today is my treat day so I'm having a pizza express margarita from sainsburys. Night shift tonight so will bring fruit to snack on.
