so would I and I'm impressed you didn't order large fries and a vanilla milkshake because I probably would have

Shybairns · 23/01/2013 19:12

Puggy have a better day tomorrow. Sounds like it was just one of those moments. We're only human!

CJMommy · 23/01/2013 22:42

FAIL SadAngry

Why did I feel it necessary to eat that huge piece of cake AND......AND then go and eat half a bag of popcorn Blush

Need to get back on track........help!!

DigWeedSow · 24/01/2013 08:49

CJMommy I feel your pain, DH came in last night with a big bag of Butterkist and a multi pack of Bounty bars Angry

I really wanted to drop below 10st this week, no chance now especially as I'm meeting a friend for lunch today

PuggyMum · 24/01/2013 11:26

What is your total loss shybairns? I've not had an update since week 1.... I've got you starting at 12st....

OneSliceOfSwissCheese · 24/01/2013 20:19

Don't panic CJMommy and DigWeedSow, it's just one day. You can get back on track.

I'm having lots of cravings of all the unhealthy but desperately tasty food I haven't really had for the past 3 weeks. Need to keep focusing on how much better I've been feeling in myself.

TaggieCampbellBlack · 24/01/2013 21:18

I am. . This close to downing a bottle of wine and eating a block of cheese. Crap news about DHs job today. really need a bottle of red.

OP posts:
FiveGoMadInDorset · 24/01/2013 21:46

Noo Taggie, sorry to hear about your DH.

I felt like wine tonight, DH went out with a friend who we haven't seen for ages for a drink, wouldn't mind normally, but he left me with packing for me and DC's to go away tomorrow, sort out baths and bed for them and finish cooking supper. He didn't realise I was working tomorrow morning, automatically thought I had the whole day off.

Going OK, not sure what I will be like next week as DH is 50 tomorrow and we are going out for supper with friends and then my sister is getting married on Saturday and going to SIL's for lunch on Sunday.

Still seems to be working with no carbs with meat and vice versa. Given up on porridge for breakfast as overdosing on milk and not to keen on the stuff, so breakfast is now museli, banana and natural youghurt.

Anyway, have a good one everyone and see you Monday.

TaggieCampbellBlack · 24/01/2013 22:01

Thanks. Happy Birthday Mr Dorset. And a wedding. And lunch. How lovely.

I've been having porridge made with rice milk or water as I don't like milk. Its not too bad.

Also sorry to hear you have crap news Taggie :(

I've lost 3lbs this week!!

That's 7.5lbs off now which I am over the moon about. I reckon I'll et this stone by 16th Feb when we go to Florida.

I tried to explain to a super fit colleague today why tracking is working for me. It's all about being honest with myself. Without tracking I can pretend but if I am doing it then I'm doing it properly.

My weeklies reset which is good as we are going out tonight for an opera night at an Italian restaurant. Set menu and wine. But then I've got all week to be good!!

Guitargirl · 25/01/2013 12:34

Great loss Puggy - that's fantastic, well done!

Taggie - sorry to hear you have had bad news. It's difficult to keep on top of eating when things are going pear-shaped around you. Have had a few rough days at work lately which have nearly sent me running for the nearest bottle of red. One more week to go though until Feb 1st (and end of dry January).

I think am doing ok on the food front. SIL has been staying though and have had a few early meetings with work to get to so haven't been able to exercise as much as I wanted to this week. Shred level 2 is a bit of a killer on my knees as well - feel like an old woman!

Have great weekends everyone!

PuggyMum · 25/01/2013 14:00

A quick Friday update as I am on a course next week in Tunbridge Wells and won't have access to the spreadsheet!

8 updates this week and no gains!!!

CJMommy - Alone on the STS bench but 6lb lost altogether!

DigWeedSow & PuggyMum both lost to push them to over half a stone lost!
Losses from TerraNotSoFirma & Fivego mad!

Massive 5.4lb loss from GuitarGirl! Woo hoo!

OneSlice - Now in the 11's and lost over 5% of body weight....

And last but not least, our OP Taggie - Another 2lb lost needs just 1lb for a stone! Come on Taggie, we are cheering you on.
We know it has been a bad week for you and hope it doesn't derail you....

88.25lbs lost - over the next 2-3 weeks we'll get an idea of who is staying with the thread so I will take everyone else off.

My hotel is lovely and has a gym, so I plan to swim in the am and gym in the eves - I am swinging by my friends house overnight on Friday so will be late weighing in - I am hoping to get under 200lbs which means I need to lose 3lbs - tonight will be my blowout then I need to be super on it!

Have a great weekend everyone and hopefully by a week on Monday I can update the sheet with loads of great news stories - some of us are so close to goals of half a stone, a stone, 5%, going into the next stone!!!

Love Puggy!

TaggieCampbellBlack · 25/01/2013 14:05

Thanks Puggy. Hotel sounds lovely. Very Envy.

Well done everyone. Keep it up and have a great weekend.

The wedding is in Tunbridge Wells, near there as we speak.

BoffinMum · 26/01/2013 08:48

Hope you are having a good time, Pugs.

I am down to 14st 2 lbs and quite proud of that.

BoffinMum · 26/01/2013 08:51

Let's really try at this and then do a team photo montage later in the year when we are all at our fighting weights! Grin

PuggyMum · 26/01/2013 10:16

Love that idea boffinmum! We are doing a weekly weigh in at work and I'm getting a photo every other week to see my progress! Can't see a difference yet but hopefully soon will.

I carry my weight in my thighs and belly but have a waist so people don't believe I'm nearly 15 stone so will take while I think before people notice Hmm

Shybairns · 26/01/2013 12:54

Was 12 stone when I weighed in on new years day. Today I am 11 st 7lbs.

Just had far too much pasta and some chocolate! Think it'll only be the one pound off this week.

Shybairns · 26/01/2013 12:58

Puggy I loose weight from the top down. Which is frustrating cos its my thighs and ass I need to loose from the most.

Hope to get out exercising next week. Felt like I was still getting over that terrible cold this past week.

Just booked a week in Menorca for June. Motivation!!

OneSliceOfSwissCheese · 26/01/2013 13:05

Afternoon all,

I've sort of fallen off the wagon at bit. Too much choccy and wine last night. Not sure if I can claw my motivation back or whether I'll be falling into a pit of wine this weekend!!!

Well done Shy. And yes, a holiday in the sunshine is the perfect motivation,

TerraNotSoFirma · 26/01/2013 13:50

Hello All.
How's everyone doing?
I've been good all week, going to bed early is helping to stop snacking :) on the nights I manage to do it that is.
Hopefully should start to see a big shift in weight as of next week as will have our new puppy and will have to get up and out for a walk before the children wake up, will def be in my bed early from now on.
When I first got a dog I lost 2 and a half stones, but she has slowed down in the last couple of years so am hoping the new pup will give us all a new lease of life.

DigWeedSow · 26/01/2013 14:41

Afternoon all,

Terra a puppy, how exciting! I would love a dog but I'm afraid that my elderly cat would not adjust very well, walking a dog would be great for fitness levels as I'd have to go for walk.

Taggie sorry to hear about your DH's job Sad

Not a lot to report here, a quiet weekend at home so trying to be good with not too much Wine and I've just signed up for yoga classes starting on Tuesday.

Hope you all have a good weekend (especially Puggy and Dorset, I'm very Envy at the wedding and hotels)

BoffinMum · 26/01/2013 15:00

That is brilliant, Shy.

Shybairns · 26/01/2013 17:46

Thanks Boffin.

STBEXH has pissed me off. To the point where I reached for a beer, and now a vodka slimline. Hoping not to let him ruin my evening completely.

Jacket spud and baked beans for tea.

TaggieCampbellBlack · 26/01/2013 20:02

Just cracked and eaten cheese and wine.

Bollocks.
