Officially started tesco GI diet on saturday. Lost a couple of pounds in the 4 days from joining just from cutting down on biscuits and cutting out ribena.

However, since being on 'the diet' I have been constantly hungry Sad.

Puggy you've just saved me from myself!! Had a bit of a full on weekend in terms of food and drink so was feeling crap and then logged on to see you remind me that I went under 11st last week Grin i luff you!!

So, saturday had an indian, chicken tikka shashlik so no sauce, two spoons of rice and a mouthful of nan bread; ok not too bad? Now add three large glasses of white and a large G&T. Did a hangover bacon sandwich on sunday followed by a three course carvery. Also a pint of full on full fat coke (hangover related too!).

Went back onto MFP today and have snacked far too much but still tracked it - about 110cals over my limit and weigh day tomorrow. Also not drunk my usual 2 litres of water/squash today. Think I will be lucky to stay the same and not gain but now feeling more motivated.......onward and upward Smile

not a bad day today- did zumba and yoga- felt better afterwards. Have not had caffeine today and have not had milky lattes or cappuccinos. diet-wise I think I will crave things I ban so, for now, I am just going to cut out the lattes/milky drinks and see if that makes a discernible difference on its own. Haven't weighed self yet (not brave enough after a week-long munchfest)

i've stayed the same - not impressed.

I lost 4lbs doing no exercise then last week I did 2 x spin class 1 x zumba a toning class and an hours walk and lose nuffin.

I wouldn't care but only had a blooming mars bar and a small bowl of crumble and cream but still

I'll try and cut down on portion sizes this week

Hello everyone , I can't do weekends :(

I have stayed the same , we have birthdays and Christmas meals out to contend with and I am struggling .

I think the time has come to bring out the shred , bugger , I thought I would have a bit longer without the shred of evil in my life .

Weigh in for me too this morning and 3 pounds off. That's 7 pounds since we started. I'm 12 stone 1 pound now so very motivated to hopefully get down in the 11s next week.

I've found MFP to be the key in keeping me on track. I'm adjusting my dinner portions to compensate for what I've had for lunch or afternoon tea.

wow you've all done so well Grin well done!!! I'm hoping this will inspire me to stop ruining my excellent exercise efforts with loads of unsuitable foodstuffs. Have stopped drinking alcohol which helps enormously, but not appearing any smaller by fit of clothes. grr- will be brave enough to weigh self towards end of week I think

travelling- I brought out shred of evil on January 1st but I'm still on day 7 level 1 Blush took a few days off. Meant to be kickboxing tonight but on a looong day in the hospital so I really will be too tired, will at least shred. Agree- birthday/christmas dinners here have not helped!

Ooh the losses are looking good!

I have to be super-good now before Friday. I have no weekly points left and I don't like to use activity points for food.

Did a spin class last night and then went for a curry (being treated by dad in law!)....but I actually felt slimmer.

I am struggling to get up in the mornings at the moment so I am hoping soon my body will respond and the mornings will get easier!!

I've been sensible today but the official diet has gone out the window for today. I had a very scary seizure after breakfast and terrified the DC as I was choking on vomit TMI sorry. Teen DD1 too upset to go to school so I've had company but feel dreadful.

Diet starts again tomorrow.

Well done everyone, some great losses. For those who stayed the same don't be put off, we'll all have weeks where we stay the same and the important thing is that it's not a gain.

fortified that sounds awful, hope you are taking it easy today and feel better soon.

In awe of those of you doing Shred/spin classes, my chosen form of torture is power walking with a bit of running but due to snow have not been this week Grin

Thanks Taggie and DigWeedSow it's been a rough day. I think I might be going down with something and that's what triggered the fit, its not uncommon for people with epilepsy.

Keep motivated everyone. I'm cheering you all on from the side lines Smile.

I am watching supersize vs superskinny and she is only 3 stone heavier than me Blush but the food she eats is making me feel ill, and wondering how come she is not so much bigger.
