I'm starving!

TheTiger · 15/01/2013 15:51

Nano I think you need to add an extra 4-500 calories onto MFP if you are breastfeeding. 1.2 kg is a really good loss, well done!

VisualiseAHorse · 15/01/2013 16:32

Are you eating Sophia?!?

Good day today - no Shred, but a 30 minute stroll, and an hour's walk up and down a hill with a heavy baby in his carrier. Burgers and chips for tea, but I'm not going to have rolls with my burgers.

Still no booze! Although, I have had a few chocolates.

Titsalinabumsquash · 15/01/2013 16:57

Mmm beef and red wine casserole Grin

funchum8am · 15/01/2013 20:39

Ok I haven't been posting much but had a few reasonably good days, at least compared to my bad habits up to now. C25k is on hold til snow goes but goat and I have buggyfit tomorrow! I have lost 1lb, wish it was more but at least it is a loss. Well done everyone, just being on here is a step, and those who have improved diet or exercised have done brilliantly, losses or no losses.

Iheartpasties · 16/01/2013 07:46

Stressful day here - just having a coke! oooops.

NanoNinja · 16/01/2013 09:26

Hi tiger. I'm confused about the breast feeding calories! I know I am meant to need more, but I'm not in the least bit hungry on maintenance. I did wonder if I'm eating enough, and whether that might mean I'm holding on to weight, though. I really don't know...

TheTiger · 16/01/2013 09:42

nano I'm not breastfeeding anymore but when I was I read about the extra 4-500 calories a day. If you had 2 pieces of toast and a banana that would be your 400. Maybe someone will come along who is breastfeeding and knows a bit more than me!!

Titsalinabumsquash · 16/01/2013 11:13

Really terrible night, baby is feeding constantly, DP is getting the hump with me for not eating more, I m eating as much as him and he's and active 16 stone man! I do feel rotten though. I really would like a bar of chocolate but I'm not sure I'd stick to diet after that.. Grin

Sophiathesnowfairy · 16/01/2013 12:32

It is the bloody shakes visualise I have finished the today and am not doing them anymore.

In fact I am off to make a hairy dieters cake.

NotSoNervous · 16/01/2013 12:38

Now I'm ready to join Smile I'm 5ft2 and want to lose at a stone then see how I feel, don't really want to say my starting weight

How is everyone doing?

Sophiathesnowfairy · 16/01/2013 12:40

No I'm not. The battery has gone in my scales.

kirrinIsland · 16/01/2013 13:27

:( sophia I don't think I've ever felt the urge to make a cake. eat one, yes, but not make one.

Not doing too badly here. I've had friend to stay who led me astray with chocolate last night, but overall not too bad. Just doing a feed and then I'm off out for a walk.

Titsalinabumsquash · 16/01/2013 13:38

DP has just filed the freezer with Squirrel, Python, Ostrich and Kangaroo Confused

NotSoNervous · 16/01/2013 16:00

Erm wow tits who's going to be cooking them

utopian99 · 16/01/2013 18:04

Crikey - and where did he get them?

Titsalinabumsquash · 16/01/2013 20:15

He gets 'exotic' meats from an online trader, Kiezie.com or something like that...

I'm not happy about the Squirrel, it looks like a Squirrel, at least the others are in steak form.
I've eaten Ostrich and Roo before but I'm not keen on trying Python or Squirrel

utopian99 · 16/01/2013 20:40

Squirrel's a new one...

Tried making yellow's prawn curry which went down a storm! Am bang on calorie allowance today after freezing walk, despite being so hungry at 5pm i caved in and had a piece of bread and butter. Would have been even better to have more will power - I'm starving these days!

Titsalinabumsquash · 16/01/2013 21:11

I caved into to chocolate buttons today, luckily it was one of the tiny 'fun' sized bags, I'm not going to stew over it.

I've just filled the slowcooker with a brisket joint that I've rubbed with mustard powder, added carrots, shallots, beef stock, juniper berries, bacon bits, bay, thyme and tomato purée. Cannot wait for it to be cooked. :)

Iheartpasties · 17/01/2013 09:37

TITS that sounds lushers. The squirrel, not so much.

I think I am generally doing ok. Well it has been a few days without any chocolate bars so really thats pretty good for me. I'm not sure if I will have lost any weight this week though as I have not doen as much exercise as I would like and I might have had too many small treats.

notsonervous welcome!

TheTiger · 17/01/2013 09:38

Mmm tits sounds lovely... Not sure about your exotic meat though!

I'm making chilli and basil chicken with green beans and rice for tea. Saw it on 'Lorraine' yesterday. Looks delish.

Got to take DS for his jabs today, poor boy. Anyone else worrying about all this snow and being stuck in the house? I will go stir-crazy without my daily walk with the pram!

Sophiathesnowfairy · 17/01/2013 09:42

a proper breakfast! Boiled egg and two slices of ww bread/toast, after a session of Laden Soltinis legs bums and tums I have wibbly legs now too.

Got book club tonight- pizza and wine. There's no way I'll resist so I planned for it by walking to work and back (50 mins in total) and then walking into town with DD in the push chair this afternoon (45 mins). Ate pretty lightly for the rest of the day as well.

I cannot imagine eating a squirrel. Don't get me wrong; I'm not sentimental about them- "rats with good PR" pretty much sums it up- but I just cant imagine you'd get much meat off one. Let me know how you end up serving it- I'm kind of thinking a kebab might be the way forward

Btw Tits- where're you from? (I see you're from W Sussex). I'm originally from Worthing.

VisualiseAHorse · 17/01/2013 13:13

Good plan RichMan - enjoy book club :)

We only have red squirrels up here - they're so cute I could never eat one!

3rd day of Level 2 of the Shred. Ouch.
