Today is cereal for brekkie, veg (fart) soup for lunch and prawn curry for tea. We have a boob possessive growth spurter in the house so am ravenous - fruit is not as good a companion for 3 hr feeds as chocolate - hey ho!!!!

WaitingForMe · 06/01/2013 14:03

I'm drinking. I look forward to a G&T all day Blush

DH makes it for me while DS has his feed around 7.30. Boob comes out if his mouth and glass goes up to mine. By rough calculation there is never alcohol in my system when I BF but I'm not overly worried.

YellowWellies · 06/01/2013 14:31

Waiting that sounds good - alcohol always appeals most during a growth spurt it's just so hard to manage some boob free time!

INeedThatForkOff · 06/01/2013 14:48

I have a drink too, and I'm not doing dry January Smile It's a good way of getting into moderate habits - can't drink too much while coping with the demands of a BFing baby.

yuletopian99 · 06/01/2013 15:53

I had a half glass of white the other day, directly after feeding so had a chance to leave system. Amazing after 9 months off, but actually half glass was all i needed!

VisualiseAHorse · 06/01/2013 16:43

Ugh, I was so farty yesterday I didn't manage to do a Shred. Just farted all day long. No idea why.

But, still no booze or chocolate. Today was ace, two walks, a shred, and some gorgeous chickpea thing for lunch. Yum.

pikz · 06/01/2013 17:00

Right all visitors and mil gone tomorrow afternoon. I start in earnest then. Lots of home cooked meals and veg.

Am a couple more lbs down but by fluke not controlled eating.

Goatbongohohoandjinglejingle · 06/01/2013 17:03

Today has been dire. Far far too much sugar in an attempt to remain awake after Babygoat got me up at 10:30, 12:30 and then for good at 2. I realise that sugar will not really help but it sure feels like it!
And at least I am getting rid of the last of the macadamia and cranberry cookies from the freezer...
Boiling ham for tea.

yuletopian99 · 06/01/2013 17:28

Bacon sarnie for lunch and planning cottage pie for supper. Would be fine had i not polished off three lebekuchen in between. Hmm.

Have shred and tracy Anderson post-preg workout- thinking of starting (gently if needs be) when dh's paternity finishes on the 16th, which will be almost 3 weeks post birth?

ValiumQueen · 06/01/2013 17:50

DS feeds pretty constantly until 10 most nights. Still not in a predictable pattern to ensure I can have boob free time, but have started expressing today, so could get DH to give a feed if needed. I only ever have an inch of wine in a glass, and sip it so not sure it would hurt.

DD1 back at school tomorrow, so school run with two littlies in double, then walk into town and back. School is only 10 minutes away, but still exercise.

Man are we going to feel stupid when our LOs are rolling home drunk aged 18 and we say but I didn't drink for x months because I was pregnant / breastfeeding.

INeedThatForkOff · 06/01/2013 18:05

I'm not finding time for proper exercise. I'll have to hope walking will do for now.

WI tomorrow ladies, though I didn't actually start until Thurs so tomorrow is an interim result for me

YellowWellies · 06/01/2013 19:07

Aye I'm not worried about booze in moderation but don't like the sleepless nights it seems to bring - evil temperance movement infant!!!

Not done too bad today - had some chapati and hummus in addition to what I'd planned as needed fats after BFing for 4 hrs solid this am! The hairy dieters prawn curry smells lush!

YellowWellies · 06/01/2013 19:58

The curry is LUSH doesn't like diet food at all! Can't believe only 253 calories per bowl!

INeedThatForkOff · 06/01/2013 20:29

Right, I'm buying that book!

Evilwater · 06/01/2013 20:41

Hello all, baby evil has lived up to his name. Yesterday was treat Saturday, and boy did I need it. The evening was the worst, I could only fit in a couple mouthfuls of veg and one fried chicken breast.

Today:
Porridge,
Then roast for lunch with extra veg and a fresh fruit salad
More fresh fruit salad, for supper.

No exercise both days as baby evil has worn me out completely.
Evil

YellowWellies · 06/01/2013 20:42

Every recipe looks amazing we can't do a third of them due to dairy or soy but otherwise I'd be doing every recipe.

You know you need to lose weight when upon watching Antique's Roadshow and they have an Oxbridge boat race oar with the rower's weights on it you spot that 2 of them are lighter than you!!!!!

funchum8am · 06/01/2013 22:40

I have got behind with C25k due to a cold but will still weigh in tomorrow to keep motivated. Eating not great today as friends made lunch of beef stew, dauphinoise potatoes containing double cream, and choc cake for dessert Shock However have been awake forever bar a nap this morning, so burning off more calories than most non-mums hopefully!

INeedThatForkOff · 06/01/2013 23:14

I've decided to try to put a bit of money aside each month until I get to goal. When I do, I need a style overhaul. I have got no idea when it comes to my appearance, and I think if I took more pride in it I'd look after myself a bit better iyswim.

I took photos if myself trying to squeeze into some dresses in Monsoon yesterday. They are mortifying and I just need a quick glimpse to motivate me!

Iheartpasties · 06/01/2013 23:38

Well I was going to weigh in this morning (down under) but DH has moved the scales so will have to do it later! never mind. I think I would have been upset at the wieght anyway.

Sometimes I look in the mirror and think I look fine, weight wise, then other times I realise I'm massive!? I just cannot bear to buy clothes in a size 14 though as I just do not want to be this size for long, yet i look terrible in most outfits as they dont fit???!!!

Iheartpasties · 06/01/2013 23:39

I'm not looking forward to tomorrow - heat wave is being predicted. 40 degrees. no thanks!

NappyHappy · 06/01/2013 23:58

2 days bread free. Not been ad bad as I thought and drastically cut down the choc consumption! ds3 has just let off the loudest fart I've heard him do! Blimey.

Rearranged ds2&3's room again earlier and moved both cots and furniture.

Cut down not cut out!

GTbaby · 07/01/2013 00:27

Managed breakfast within half hour of waking Grin. Water not so good.

NappyHappy · 07/01/2013 00:38

Hi GT, I've not had any water either just a beaker of juice, a couple of green coffees and a few glugs of milk straight from the fridge. Shock
Well done for eating b.fast within half an hour!!

yuletopian99 · 07/01/2013 01:25

Is breakfast early good? I'm dreadful at managing full stop at the mo as between 7-10 is when dh takes ds so i can sleep as he feeds all night..

Water wise am okay though; thought i had the demon thirst during pregnancy but now it's rocketed! About 8 pints a day and 2-3 more at night??
