We're going to the Paralympics tomorrow which should be fun with a 4&2 year old!
Might have a salad for lunch, as can have a shake am and pm! I am still starving and thinking of my Christmas dinner :)
drinking water is a nightmare- the only way I'm getting through it is thinking that some people in the world would kill for some!

Well for anyone who's interested I lost 6lbs!!!! And 7 inches. - which is amazing Grin 2 stone and 1lb to go.....roll on another week.

HI All

Struggled with my weight for entire life until 2003 and then started losing weight by eating healthy and lost 30kgs from 120 kgs i was down and 80 kgs.
Moved to Australia and stopped doing exercise as was in a relationship got to comfortable until realized my dreams were over and break off hit me cause i was overweight shocking 135 kgs.
Joined gym and what not lost 15 kgs in 1 year.
I was sooooo depressed and unhappy as no one like a big girl. All my frenz are getting married or having kids.
Then came across CD and have been on SS for 6 weeks from 120 i was down to 106 kgs was happy until i cheated and ate and this week i am 108 kgs.
I am so sacred that i won?t be able to do, i need help and support.
I can?t get over the food specially in the evening. Im hating myself more and more everyday  cause i am a loser

Anvas1 you are not a loser! You've done well so far, don't give up. Tomorrow is another day so start afresh! Evenings are tricky, what about putting a cd bar in the freezer the chopping into tiny amounts and having that as a treat? Could be part of ss+? Plenty of water. Reading a book?

My weigh in is tomorrow, so will post as soon as I know- I hope I've lost weight!

Well hello again everyone... I started in may this year on the CD but as you can see it didnt last for very long! So im back again and only on day 4 but feeling positive and i am not going to give in to temptation (although ive thought about it... LOTS!) Just trying to take my mind of it and then after a few mins it does pass and i feel so proud of myself i didnt cheat :-) well done elder on your loss, i get weighed on tuesday and cant wait to see the results for the first week! Hope everyone else is getting on ok, i have a lot to loose so plan on being here for a good while for the ups and downs!! Have a good day all xx

Hello Elder... well when I started in may i lasted about a week (hand over face!) But when i first did it october last year i did it for 5 weeks and lost nearly 3 stone!!!! So i no i can do it i just need to train myself to not give in to temptation, because once our that far in your used to it then so its just the thought of the food not actually wanting it that made me crumble, but im on my 4th day and still going strong and this time i will stick to it for as long as it takes. How are you getting on xx

I'm doing ok, my DH is the only one who knows im doing Cd, had to tell a white lie today by saying to fil that I had a bit of an upset tummy, which was why I was drinking water while the rest of the family were tucking into pasta:(
3 stone wow that's amazing! Well done for starting again, the first week is horrible , but you are right, I don't feel as hungry as I thought I would. ( dreams of Christmas dinner :) )

Hi, I'm back. (namechanger but been here before).Lost i2 and a half stone back in April/May.

I put every single pound back on, and feel revolting. Emotional pain lots of it.

So here to join you all with my head held high,' I am sick of apologising for my fat existance, its time to step out of the shadows.

Starting a job in 4 weeks, so would really like to have made some progress by then. I can't afford new clothes and they don't fit me now.

Tell me what to do - its my DD's BD on Tuesday, shall I start Wednesday, sort of geared up for tomorrow, but then thought lets face it, its her birthday, we are going out, shall I start Wednesday instead? I don't want to give in before I have started? Wednesday I think, what do you think? Anyone?

Will be back later. Its good to have come back,

Enjoy tuesday and DD b'day- and be happy knowing that you will be losing loads of weight after this day. I agree wednesday!

How long did it take you to lose the weight previously?

Tantrums - can you try a non-carb/low-carb meal on Tuesday and still start tomorrow? Depending on where you're going, most places do a chicken salad, or a steak and veg (give the chips to someone else) type option. I've been using My Fitness Pal which tracks calories and carbs if I have to eat out, which is helpful.

I'm a stone down after 4 weeks, but this last week has been hard as I've had a couple of meals, plus one day was a total pigout (three bags of crisps Shock). But i have two days to get my water consumption up to 10 glasses a day ratehr than my current 6, before Tuesday's weigh in (am currently at the same weight as last Tuesday Sad). I find it's drinking water that makes the most difference.

Water is the key. I remember that.

I lost 2 and a half in two months - then I got abit clever...

Been thinking that what I am going to do is low carb mon & tues, then start Total Solution wednesday. I seem to remember, that it is recommended (exante) that you low carb initially. After that I can promise total dedication until well, christmas really!

How nice it WILL be to be wearing something slinky on Christmas Eve, instead of whatever fits. Bit sick of being fat.

Hey everyone, Im so glad I found this thread, I have read the whole lot and so pleased to find some others on VLCDs. I am just waiting for my order of slim and save to arrive and then I am starting the diet on TUesday. Getting married in 6 months time and absolutley will not be a fat heffer for it. Looking forward to seeing everyones progress on here.

Hi Elderwand, ideally I need to lose 5 stone to get down to a healthy BMI and just be at the top of the ideal weight for my weight. This would probably mean getting down to a size 12. I am about a 16/18 now. However, I know this is a massive amount of weight and I would be happy to lose 3.5 stone in time for the wedding which would take me to a 12/14.

Disgusted with myself really. Am the classic yoyo dieter, I lose weight put it on, on a 2 year cycle. I have got a stacks and stacks of clothes upstairs from a size 12 to a size 16. Cant wait to slim down and wear some nice jeans again.I am also worried about my health now, woried about the risk of diabetes and getting a lot of aches and stiffness in my feet and ankles.

Dont beat yourself up about the philly. Draw a line under it and commit to 100% tomorrow.

Hello everyone and welcome to the newbies Smile Im still doing well and really looking forwards to tuesdays weigh in! Been drinking way more than my 2 litres a day of water, i bought a 1litre bottle and just make sure ive filled it up twice for the day and once ive drank that i know anything after that is a bonus... I actually drank 4litres a couple of days ago, couldnt quite believe it but i was extremely hungry that day so it definately helps get rid of those hunger rumbles!! I have alot to lose and will probably be doing this for the next 10months to a year of my life so it wont be easy but when i went to get weighed last tuesday the worst thing happened to me which never has before..... I stood on the scales and it said O L (over load Sad Blush ) i couldnt believe my eyes, have i really got to this point from eaitng>??????? from then that thought hasnt left my mind and it wont until i reach my goal, such an embarrassing thing to see and actually admit to you ladies but i know each day my weight is going down and i will NEVER see those horrible letters on the scales again!!! I got my Slim and save delivery today and am starting tomorrow. Absolutely bricking it/excited/nervous etc etc. Am on a really boring work training course tomorrow and Im imagining sitting there all day being bored to tears and nothing to think about but food. Just got to power through this week and hopefully see a fab result next week.

Hello everyone, got weighed by my consultant this morning and lost 2lbs more since yesterday so thats a total of 12lbs for the week!! Very happy with that. hope you all see some results when ur weigh in day comes..... Feel like im talking to myself on this thread half the time lol x
