RatherBeOnThePiste · 14/03/2011 18:36

My relaunch was going well till I succumbed to a bag of cheesy wotsits Hmm

Gt - thank you, I am up to 5K now, and aiming to go 3 times a week, well run one day, two days off. That C25K programme is amazing. Everyone on the thread is enjoying success.

bebejones · 14/03/2011 18:41

Ive been relatively good today, and did some gardening! DD played with her sandpit while I cleared out pots ready for my our veggies! Oh and she kissed a snail & wanted to keep it as a pet! Hmm :o

Just had a small jacket potato with some creamy chicken & loads of broccoli, cauli & green beans!

Trimmer - consider your butt kicked. Wink Although that doesn't sound too naughty, just quantity I guess!

Blondes - Wish I could persaude DH & DD to eat Salmon. I love it, but it's never really worth cooking it just for me!

Think I'm going to make more of an effort to take DD to the peak over the summer this year. Was lovely, even if it was tiring!

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/03/2011 19:36

piste one bag of wosits is fine, i have crisps every day - remind what diet you are doing again?

bebe cook it for yourself :)

i always microwave, takes 2 ish mins fresh or 3.5ish from frozen

love salmon sooooooo much and so quick and easy

smokinaces · 14/03/2011 19:44

Trimmer, even your day wasnt as bad as it could have been?

I have been soooo busy so barely time to eat. Snacked on 3 mini sized bananas, and had weetabix for breakfast, tuna salad for lunch and just had chicken and veg for dinner. Need to combat that chinese!!

Just been to GPs and am being weaned of my antids now. Am happy about this, and taking it slowly - but if I suddenly disappear someone track me down as I tend to hide when depressed and I might not notice the signs at first. I am hoping after coming off the combined pill and dropping a bit of weight, coming off the cipralex does a similar thing.

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/03/2011 19:52

fab news smokin, dh was on that but has changed to another one

and sounds a good healthy diet was had today as well, so well done :)

RatherBeOnThePiste · 14/03/2011 19:54

I'm doing The Wotsit Diet Mrs B!
also known as counting calories and making healthy choices Hmm

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/03/2011 21:18

i love prawn wosits, wish they did them in 6 packs

RatherBeOnThePiste · 14/03/2011 21:36

Prawn wotsits sound just wrong.
I don't think I've ever seen them.
But you live and learn.

smokinaces · 14/03/2011 22:00

Love wotsits. Have given up all crisps for lent though.

Had the last of the birthday cake and some mini party rings with my tea. But nothing left for picking tomorrow - and I blame having to stay up late for Waking the Dead!!!

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/03/2011 22:17

Multipack piste. 2 prawn/BBQ and cheese

Smokin - no way I can give up crisps

RatherBeOnThePiste · 14/03/2011 22:21

But WtheD was goooooood wasn't it Smokin?!

< ponders > I suppose the multipack could bring variety to my new Wotsit diet.

< goes to check out ocado to see if they have them >

RatherBeOnThePiste · 14/03/2011 22:24

And they don't. Sad
but they are on a special mulitpack offer with monster munch

2 x 6 packs for only £2

Is that good?!
The probs is, if I buy them, I will eat them.

Murtette · 14/03/2011 22:28

Hello!

Sorry for going AWOL. Put on a couple of pounds and lost the motivation as I wasn't getting any nearer goal. The I saw a friend who I hadn't seen for 6 weeks and in that amount of time, she'd lost 10lbs with WW and looked fab. So that gave me a bit of a kick up the backside and I weighed myself this morning for the first time in 4 weeks and I've lost 6lbs! Yippee!!!! Especially as it means I'm below 12st - although only just as I'm 11st 13. This means I've lost 1.5 stone since we originally started this thread. Not weighing for a few weeks really worked for me as it meant that I knew I had plenty of time to lose at least a couple of pounds and see a difference. I even squeezed into pre-preg jeans yesterday as am now only 5lbs heavier than my fattest pre-preg weight. I did have a huge muffin top though.

I've skimmed through the last few pages for the latest news.

Meet ups - Tues and Fri work best for me to go up to London

Piste - glad your family are OK. I did pop in the other day to check on them as they the only people I "know" in Japan. My friends who live in Tokyo are in the US at the moment so have missed it. I think its going to be really odd for them to go back.

Trimmer - how is the job going? Any luck with selling the house?

Bebe - what was the recipe for the "healthy" flap jack. I love the stuff but am always horrified at the amount of sugar, syrup and fat that goes into it.

Piste (again) - maybe you should sign up for a 10k run? I seem to recall from when I did them that
the training programmes went up to you being able to do around 7k twice a week in the run up to the race on the basis that the atmosphere on the day would get you the rest of the way.

Off to bed. The alarm goes off at 6am now on work days. I'm loving being back at work though.

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/03/2011 22:29

I love monster munch

2 bags of 6 for £2 isn't that great

I buy in our poundshop and get 2 packs of 7 for 99p so £1.98

Tbh I love any crisps

'blondes stands up and says - I'm a crispaholic'

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/03/2011 22:33

murtette welcome back and fab amount to have lost since thread started :)

Fridays are good for me or a weekend with notice

bebejones · 15/03/2011 06:02

Urrrrrgh! Stupid cold! Been awake since 5! Poor DD has been coughing all night! :(

Blondes - I love crisps too, I have to be really restrained when DD has some at lunch!

Murtette - welcome back! Fab weight loss well done you! The healthier flapjack is on MN recipes, banana and date. I also made an apple, date & sultanna flapjack along the same lines (ie same quantities of oats/oil) but added one grated apple instead of the banana, some cinnamon & a good splodge of syrup (or honey) as it's not as sticky! Not quite as bad as 'normal' flapjack!

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/03/2011 07:23

poor dd :( try raising her mattress

im biting the bullet and starting potty training today when i get to work

gawd help me - i shall need food!!!!

RatherBeOnThePiste · 15/03/2011 08:03

Starting yourself on potty training?! Hope you keep your pants dry Wink [I'm an imbecile]

bebejones · 15/03/2011 09:58

Good Luck Blondes! My DD is now dry, but getting her to poo in the toilet consistantly is a complete NIGHTMARE!

Used to prop DDs cot up but not tried with the bed yet, shall see what I can do!

Just making a broccoli, green bean & cheddar quiche. Mostly for DH & DD, but am tempted to have a slice! :o He's likely to kick up a fuss coz it has 'green stuff' in it! Hmm

Feel like crap, wish I could get rid of this cough it's driving me insane!

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/03/2011 10:37

hmm, i gonna need it lol

mb and i discussed it a while back, i said she can start it thur/fri/sat/sun and i would continue on a mon, she said im the professional and pt many children including her son and i start it and she continues - least i KNOW she will keep in knickers when im not here unlike others boss's

had yesterday off so d day or should i say p day starts today

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/03/2011 19:00

Babs did a poo on the potty

She was so chuffed with herself and overjoyed at the chocolate button she got :)

bebejones · 15/03/2011 19:45

We had one in pants (less than a minute after I asked if she needed to go...she was making 'that' face!) and one in the toilet...I had to hold her down & practically pin her to the toilet! It's such a battle. It is driving me insane, we have tried everything we can think of! And she knows what she is doing & knows that poos go in the toilet (she tells us, and showed the Gruffalo (puppet/DH) where to go)! Any tips Mrs B?

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/03/2011 20:27

Sounds to me she is testing you - she knows to tell you or do in the toilet but doesn't want to

I would ignore her and let her stay in pooey pants for a while and then when she does get changes to clean stuff. Make her take pokey stuff wo washing machine

Try sticker charts and marbles

RatherBeOnThePiste · 15/03/2011 20:43

Mrs B is right about Ignoring your DD on this. Praise the good, ignore the bad. No pinning her down and battles. Change her and say nothing. She may well be enjoying the negative attention. You never know. But I certainly dont envy you on this I hated potty training DS. DD was so easy, DS was a poo in his pants kind of guy!

Just got back from a run, probs 4 or 5 K. I do like it. Well I love it when I've been and I get that post exercise smug feel!
