RatherBeOnThePiste · 28/02/2011 15:48

It's also a June wedding, not really a black occasion either?

bebejones · 28/02/2011 17:52

Every occasion is a black occasion...as 90% of my wardrobe will testify too! Wink

Nothing suitable on Bravissimo either & I checked ebay. Getting fed up of looking now!

Smokin - it'll go, at least that's what I'm hoping about my 2lb gain! Don't worry too much! :)

Bebe, I hate "occasions" I can never find anything nice to wear. Hopefully something will come up before June.

Have been kinda good. Last day of the holidays so took DS1 out for the day. Cinema was ok as took grapes, but then ate the second half of DS's krispy kreme. Took him to McDs, and had a chicken salad deli. But then had some chips.

but I resisted cake in Morrisons when meeting my mum for coffee!

so tomorrow school, nursery and work start back so will make a big salad tonight, lots of fruit and stick with it. Going to jump on the cross trainer tonight and sweat it out in front of BL final too.

bebejones · 28/02/2011 18:39

Actually consdidering getting some fabric & making something!

I have been bad today...again! Feeling fed up & made muffins! Blush I bake when miserable!

Had 1/2 toasted bagel for brekkie
Noodle soup, banana & yoghurt for lunch
Salmon fishcake, lf chips, salad & sweet chilli sauce for dinner.

And muffins a muffin! Blush

GettinTrimmer · 28/02/2011 19:26

prettyfly well done on your 3lb.

smokin sorry about your 2lb but you've been doing really well lately it'll be gone soon. If I weighed in on Friday I don't think the news would have been good.

bebe depends on your shape, I know we both have the top issue - I would say the last one with a scooped neck would look good. I liked the 3rd cross over at the front one if it had a v-neck at front and back. What colour would you choose?

bebejones · 28/02/2011 19:33

3rd & 5th ones are my favourites too. Possibly choose a bluey colour or even purple. Nothing too pale! Would be eay to put a V in at the back on the 3rd one.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 28/02/2011 19:33

Somewhat ironically - I like the plain black dress with the bow at the back!! But obviously in a different colour for your lovely June wedding!!

I am crap at this sort of thing though. When DD was 18 months old she was a bridesmaid for my bro in Japan, and he wanted her to be the classic English bridesmaid, so it was all cream raw silk. God it was a nightmare!! She did look totally the part though, and as right and proper stole the show, and the Japanese contingent treated her like she was royalty / a doll!

But I am never making anything every again. I even have to take mending to the local dry cleaners! Blush [Londoner]

RatherBeOnThePiste · 28/02/2011 19:34

Have you got big bazoomerage?

bebejones · 28/02/2011 19:44

Yes I have erm 'Bazoomerage', although less since losing weight! Quite a curvy figure, definite waist despite wobbly post baby bits! Blush I like the black one but what on earth bra would I wear with that?

I think maybe number 5 with a lower neckline would be good. Although I am now re considering number 2 (the black one) if I could find suitable underwear!

bebejones · 28/02/2011 20:38

Oooh ooh I like this one

RatherBeOnThePiste · 28/02/2011 20:39

Yes me likey.
Actually I like that one best.
If you had a sort of drapey material it would hang very nicely.
< I almost sound like I know what I'm talking about LOL >

RatherBeOnThePiste · 28/02/2011 20:40

What is the back like?

bebejones · 28/02/2011 20:46

And the 50's housewife in me really likes this one

bebejones · 28/02/2011 20:49

Not sure what the back is like, I would imagine maybe a slight V. I could adapt it from the pattern anyway if I didn't like it! :o Think this is the way to go, at least I will be able to choose the fabric/colour!

bebejones · 28/02/2011 20:57

Last one

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/02/2011 21:52

if you have big norks bebe, then you may need/look better with a plunging v neck

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/02/2011 21:52

excited squeal

look what i have found St Davids St Davids St Davids

GettinTrimmer · 28/02/2011 23:08

I'm with Piste Bebe, I like the one with the black sash round the waist.

Agree with Blondes about norkage, I started a thread once about what to wear, good bra and scoop necks, low v's.

St Davids can't wait till they're out!

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/02/2011 23:13

can wait to get your norks out trimmer? Grin

GettinTrimmer · 28/02/2011 23:33

blimey blondes they never see the light of day

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/02/2011 23:53

oh you meant the St Davids

not the Biscuit Biscuit

ha ha ha ha ha

RatherBeOnThePiste · 01/03/2011 06:54

GT. I thought you meant your norks too, and I was like Hmm cos you are now a respectable member of your school community now.
Wink
