Oh Mrs B.... some people will do anything to get attention!

Enjoy your lie down Smile
hope your DH is on the mend now ( and you too lol )

Another busy day on the thread, I will catch up. I've been on a yawnsville course today. But it did make me think about my eating patterns. Which I have decided are far from ideal.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 11/02/2011 17:00

Lovely GT... When do you start your new job?

Blondeshavemorefun · 11/02/2011 17:53

we are home and hope to stay that way

having a chinese for tea and as only had a small ham sandwich with no butter for lunch, i have plenty of pp :)

i know piste i was getting fed up with having spent 10+hrs at AE over past 24hrs over dh so thought I* deserved some tlc Grin

Blondeshavemorefun · 11/02/2011 18:01

excited squeal - theres a Brew pic now :)

GettinTrimmer · 11/02/2011 18:09

lol piste Grin my ds and blondes/blondes's dh need some tlc he has a urine infection, just got back from docs.

Why do you think your eating patterns are not ideal?

Start new job properly when checks come back, enhanced CRB, and one of my references hasn't been returned which I have to chase up. I can go in and volunteer asap which would be great as I can suss out the system of dinners, what happens at wet play etc.

Blondes glad you are ok, we are having chinese too, think you deserve some chips (just a few!).

Good thing about weighing in on monday is I have it in my mind to be restrained, and it's Friday night!!

GettinTrimmer · 11/02/2011 18:11

ooooh Wine Wine Brew Biscuit Biscuit

Blondeshavemorefun · 11/02/2011 18:15

never been a chip fan

GettinTrimmer · 11/02/2011 18:37

I have a chip fetish

bebejones · 11/02/2011 19:14

Shock NOT A CHIP FAN! Wink I LOVE chips! Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Have had a very naughty Friday treat. Been very good all day & had just spicy BNS soup for dinner followed by......Chocolate Sponge Pudding with Chocolate Custard Was so good! Really perked me up. Not really felt like food today as feel mega snot with this cold still! :(

Blondes - Glad you & DH are home. Fingers crossed no more nose bleeds.

Trimmer - Poor DS, hope he gets better soon. Exciting bout job! :)

Really going to try & be good over the weekend instead of letting myself go! Got stuff to make root veggie soup & some leek & potato soup. Need to restock my freezer. Also got plenty of fruit so shall try & pic at that instead of anything naughty!

Blondeshavemorefun · 11/02/2011 19:58

trimmer your poor ds :( water and cranberry

bebe everyone has a treat every now and again, so enjoy the pudding :)

RatherBeOnThePiste · 11/02/2011 20:15

Ahem. I don't really like chips either

smokinaces · 11/02/2011 20:21

Im not a huge chip person either!

GettinTrimmer · 11/02/2011 20:52

Bebe you are my chip partner on the slinks thread, I adore them, but they are my undoing - just ate too many with my chinese Blush have to be extra good tomorrow. If one of us had the chips and chocolate sponge pudding imagine the scales!

GettinTrimmer · 11/02/2011 20:55

I must say there is not any way of doing spuds that I don't like

Smalline · 11/02/2011 21:07

Pretty so sorry to hear of your familys sad newsSad((hugs)).

bebejones · 11/02/2011 21:41

Mmmmmmmmm Potato! :o Have a weakness for crisps & mashed potato is defnitely one of my comfort foods!

Murtette · 11/02/2011 22:00

What a dramatic 48 hours its been on this thread!

Pretty - so sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts are with you and your family. It must be hard for your DS. In time, he will realise how lucky he has been having all of his grandparents until now.

Blondes - how are you and Mr Blondes? My Dad had to have his nose cauterised twice on Xmas Eve as he kept getting nose bleeds which wouldn't stop. After the second cauterisation, they told him not to bend down or blow his nose for at least a week. Poor DD was most confused why Grandad wouldn't get down and play with her. Also, they said to fill two fingers of some rubber gloves (or two condoms!) with water and keep them in the freezer and put them on either side of his nose if it started again. I wonder how many other people who have gone to support someone in A&E end up being admitted themselves!

Gettin - well done! That's brilliant news. How lucky you are to get a job which fits so perfectly around your DC. Is it the school your DS is at? How is he getting on this term? Will you be able to keep a bit of an eye on him with your new role?

Bebe - how frustrating for you. When will your next appt be?

Laughalot - well done on losing some more lbs.

Quite a few people have commented on my weight loss in the last few days and I sound really ungrateful and surly when I mutter "but I haven't". I am confused as to what is going on. I definitely won't lose this week as I had the girls over last night which involved much chocolate, crips and wine, have been nibbling all evening, out with friends to lunch tomorrow and then DP will be doing a Valentine's dinner on Sunday night (thought it was easier to do it then than when we're both whacked after work on Monday).

Have a good weekend

Blondeshavemorefun · 12/02/2011 09:02

murtette you are obv toning up :)

all fine in the blondes household - hoping for an A&E free day :)

Murtette you are probably more toned so look smaller, I used to get the same sort of comments when I went back to the gym after a couple of years off, at first I used to reply that I hadn't lost 'weight' but had lost size due to exercising, that seemed to confuse people so in the end I politely thanked them for their kind wordsSmile.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 12/02/2011 13:10

Don't accidentally punch him on the nose Mrs Blondes

bebejones · 12/02/2011 13:37

Had a very busy morning!

Lots of tidying & sorting & cooking, and cut DHs hair! Made some spiced stewed pears & blackberries for quick puds. Made some Leek & Potato soup from a soup mix (basically pre chopped veg) it's very yummy & is pretty much fat free! :o Had some for lunch with a small h/m roll.

Making a chicken stew with mash for dinner, so will make sure I have mostly veg. Also making dumplings, reduced fat suet, but will only have one...and a half! Wink Got tonnes more housework to do. Need to do it whilst the mood strikes me!! Hmm

Good luck Mrs B on a A&E free day!

Well done Smalline!

bebejones · 12/02/2011 13:46

Just worked out soup on FF - 37cals per portion!! :o NO fat!!!
