Restarting Mounjaro after 6 month break

Hi, I want to stop Mounjaro due to cost but I’m hoping to re-restart it after about six months. Has anyone had an experience of restarting after a significant break? If so was it still effective? I’m hearing on the Internet that some people struggle to lose weight after a break. Thanks

After 7 months of MJ (having gone from BMI 31 to 23) I stopped. I was on a dose of 5mg at the time and was just a bit fed up with injecting. I managed to lose a bit more over the first few weeks but then Christmas happened and I put a few pounds on.

After 6 weeks off, I went back on 2.5mg at the end of December (I am on a maintenance plan so provider happy to prescribe at healthy weight). Going back on was an immediate relief - for me it was the same as the first time and since then I have lost well and got down to my target weight with a BMI of 21. I am planning on coming off again.

2.5 has worked well for me the second time, but I never needed to go up past 6mg (counting clicks from a 7.5mg pen) so I guess I respond well at low doses.

@Notsosweetcaroline they are trying to rile. It’s quite sad really and a bit malicious.
