Hi
is anyone else struggling to stay in a deficit? My maintenance calories are 1800 because I’m not very tall. I’m on max dose of wegovy and still have 1stone to lose and it’s no longer silencing the food noise .

already today I’ve eaten crumpet thins with biscoff spread (measured) for breakfast

some melon , a yogurt , teas and coffee as snacks .

cod bites and baked beans , ketchup for lunch

a mini twix and a mini kitkat.

not even 4pm and I am on 1000kcal .

any tips and low calorie meal ideas are appreciated.

is it me or is it much harder to lose weight as a shorter lady ?

I’m 5’1” and my maintenance is 1500.
I snack on chicken, ham, salad veg (carrots, cucumbers, peppers)
I have porridge and an apple for breakfast, bagel thins with turkey bacon, lettuce and cucumber for lunch and then dinner is usually chicken with new potatoes (weighed) with veg (sweetcorn, carrots, asparagus, broccoli)

you can still have carbs, just balance it with protein.

your empty calories are your accompaniments

@Lineem yep I went from 12.7 to 12 in the first week, it was unbelievable, obviously it slowed down to a normal rate after, but just goes to show how much water we hang on to in the form of inflammation.

I get confused about the greek yogurt on here, with some people saying have 0 fat so you can have more of it and some people saying never eat fat free yogurt 😄

So I go for 5% with honey and blueberries or raspberries. Very filling!

Fat free is fine as long as it’s just plain natural yoghurt and nothing added like sugar or artificial sweetener.

Thank you everyone for the support and advice earlier this month.

In 2 weeks I’ve lost 3.5kg (now on Mounjaro) and I’m eating a lot better . The food noise is still there but far more manageable!

I lost some weight before going on the jab
Because it was very slow

But that is a lot of sugar
Also, I agree you've got your maintenance calories wrong. I am shorter and I think I'm able to have about 1400 to 1500 but the main thing is the sugar

Oh sorry, I just saw your last post
Oh, that's good. It sounds like you've got it all under control.
