Wegovy Starter Oct 4th

Hey - just took first dose. Would love a buddy.
5ft 4 and starting weight 90kg

I did my second injection on Tuesday, really felt the suppression today. Walked past all the chocolate Christmas treats in the supermarket earlier and felt nothing. Really struggled to get my calories in today too as I got full quite quickly and stayed full for ages. This has been good because I’d felt like the effect from the first jab was starting to wane on Sunday/Monday.

I weighed myself yesterday and have lost 6 pounds in 10 days. Well chuffed 😁

Did my 2nd jab last night too. 4.8lb loss for this week. Really pleased with that.

@jumpingbump and @MrsCillian , well done!!! I think it’s more sustainable if losses are reasonable. Are you feeling appetite suppression?

I’ve just ordered the next dose up, so fingers crossed that’s OK and I won’t get side effects kick in. On the first dose I’ve been fine, nothing major in terms of side effects 🤞🏻

Hopefully you wont get any side effects as you move up 🤞🏼 how long have you been on it, and how much have you lost?

I still feel hungry but don't fancy anything if that makes sense? Last night going to bed I was hungry but didn't snack because I couldn't decide what I wanted. Usually I would have just raided the snack cupboard. I'm eating my meals but getting full more quickly.

@MrsCillian I’ll be doing my third injection of .25 on Tuesday, so been on it 2 weeks. Apart from getting a bit of a headache the first week, and a slightly dry mouth I’ve not had any adverse effects 🤞🏻. The headache could also have been sugar withdrawal too!

I’m finding that it’s really taking the edge off my appetite. I’m using the Nutracheck app to track calories and protein to make sure I eat well, so at the moment I feel like the Wegovy is underpinning my willpower 😁. I want this to help me get the weight off (3.5 stone to lose to get into healthy weight bracket), but also to support me establishing good eating patterns I can carry on once I’m off the injections. I really need to sort this out as I’ve got bone on bone osteoarthritis in both knees and being obese makes it a lot worse because of the extra pressure on my joints.

Felt so sick this morning 🤢 and bit better now but not great. How's everyone else feeling today? Good I hope

All good ok although cross with myself as wasted an injection by forgetting to take cap off! Need to find a cheaper option as will need to buy a week before pay day now

Week 1 completed and I’ve lost 3lbs. The food noise has not switched off at all but I do get full quicker when eating. Onwards and upwards! Or should I say onwards and downwards?!

I’ll be having my third injection on Tuesday. I’m pretty sure I will go up a dose as I still have the food noise. What about you?

Hi everyone!
I’ve got my last dose of .25 in Tuesday and then already have my .5 for the week after.
I’m finding that the appetite suppression is great for the first 3-4 days but then starts to wane a bit. Hoping the next dose will last longer.
Getting good results though, I’m still calorie counting as I want to make sure I can keep up with good habits.
I get my Wegovy from Asda.

Congrats! That’s great. I’m 4lbs down in 2 week so it’s slower than I expected. Really need to up my water intake!

Thats amazing both of you! I am down 6lbs and have just ordered my 0.5 pen. Just waiting for the prescription to be confirmed. I haven't been as focused this last week. Need to eat cleaner. You guys are doing great!

Well done both. I have quite a lot to lose so that might be why it's been a bit faster for me so far. I haven't eaten clean or anything like that but have eaten much less than I usually would.

You are doing great. We all are. I think its about changing our mindset.

Upping my dose tomorrow as had to order my new pen a week early. Bit nervous about the side effects this time. Went with chequp so have a code for them or mxprs if u need. How has this week been for you all? I've definitely had more food noise but am sure I had a faulty pen.
