Im 15 stone and 5 foot 6, I have horrendously massive boobs. Im exhausted 24 7
Im just wondering if people have tried either
Ive tried dieting but I just can't seem to remove the constant hunger, sweet cravings and emotional eating.
Im in a really difficult place emotionally as my partner is moving out soon as our relationship has become toxic.
Im also stressed with some parenting issues.
I just want a kick start whilst I muddle through other things.

@Merseymum1980 I see you are going for it with MJ, my one bit of advice is that they’ll try to move you up the doses every month because it’s more money for them but I’ve lost 12.5kg in 9 weeks on the lowest MJ dose (2.5) and am still losing at a rate of about 1kg per week. I am calorie counting and disciplined about recording my consumption which is helping but the MJ has really stopped me overeating - I’m full after a normal portion for the first time in my life!
If it’s working for you and you are happy with the weight loss there’s no need to move up to the more expensive doses. Good luck!

Agree with this, I prob could have stayed in 5 as 7.5 made me so ill. Stick with the dose that is working and gives you the least side effects

Good decision OP - MJ has been a complete gamechanger for me, after over a decade of yoyo dieting, emotional eating & gradual overall weight gain.
I've been lucky and had minimal side effects and good appetite suppression - lost 33lbs in 4 months. I can't tell you how much better I feel. Good luck.

I’ve been on MJ since March and have lost 5 stone, I started at 16. Im the lowest weight I’ve been in over ten years. It’s changed my life!
The price of it has massively increased this month so keep that in mind.

Merseymum1980 · 10/09/2025 21:25

It's sounds amazing, I have to provide id and photos in the morning to order it

@Merseymum1980 good luck with your journey. I’ve been on Mounjaro since April. I’m down 2 st 11 lb and have 3 lb to go to my goal weight. Your post has actually inspired me to sign up for slimpod! I’m a massively emotional eater and Mounjaro has killed the urge to binge but I’m very worried about those urges coming back once I’m off MJ (planning to use it to maintain for a good long while but would like to come off eventually) Just wanted to thank you for bringing it to my attention. I’ve watched all the videos today and feeling really positive about it.

Oh, that's a real shame @Merseymum1980 . I hope you find something that works for you soon. I'm still plodding on with slimpod and it's very slow progress but I'm ok with that. I've lost just over 1/2 stone so far, I lose les than 1lb per month but as long as the scale is going down I'm happy enough.

Ah well, at least you tried it. How strange about the dreams.

Comtesse · 16/11/2025 18:11

I’ve been using Slimpod for over a year now. 1.5 stone down, down a clothes size, much fitter / doing a lot more exercise, not really relying on willpower so very limited effort. The weight loss is slow but keeps going, and I’m not interested in boom and bust dieting - I think it can be very sustainable over time. Honestly for 100 quid I’m very pleased, I think it’s excellent value for money.

I’m still using slimpod too and I love it. I’m tapering down my mounjaro dose so obviously still have that crutch but what I’ve noticed with slimpod is I am sleeping so much better and I’m obsessed with exercise. I’m now training for a marathon and I look forward to the pain of my long run - slimpod has really helped me to reframe things in my brain and I plan to keep going with it forever!
