Hira does both curate and oushk so that’s interesting!

Does she? Never knew that.

I'm relieved to report that Asda have finally come up trumps. My two pens ordered nearly 2 weeks ago are finally on their way. I didn't order anywhere else as I couldn't see the point in panicking. In fact I think this thread rather than being calm encouraged multiple orders & mass stress. Though it's easy for me to say after living through the Ozempic/Wegovy debacle when I also panicked 😉

Edited

My order from Asda also got approved this morning. Just my regular order which got approved after 2 weeks. They asked me to collect after 28th from my local pharmacy. They then emailed after 2 hours to collect after 29th then emailed in the evening to say they are out of stock and the stockist cannot give a date in foreseeable future so I can either put my order on hold or cancel and order later. I asked them to put my order on hold.

I hope you receive your order and don’t have to deal with the same. I still have 2 doses left so I am okay for the time being. But what surprises me is that I am no longer seeing notice of out of stock on Asda website as previously and if I want then I can reorder easily so how come my order which was on a low price is out of stock.

Mine was unloved too until.this week. It's tucked up in a Ikea zip lock bag now. It's been promoted from the egg shelf, to tucked in with the Tesco fake red bull to the zip lock bag. The Barbie thing is a good idea. Off to Google a Barbie bed now

Ooh, tucked up in bed would be perfect! 🖋️ 🛌 💤

I was thinking today ( this is my current obsession) I have really nervous about ordering a £350 laptop from cex abd a £150 phone from Curry's in the past. Not sure why a £300 pen would any less of a risk for being nicked in transit or off the doorstep? Anyone else worried about that aspect?

Yes, I have designated day delivery normally with oushk so it comes when I WFH but they messed up and it arrived while I was in the office and DH was out. I was so worried about where they would leave it.

The postie is great but some delivery drivers leave stuff in really stupid places. I once came home to £100 worth of wine left on the front path, there is no fence or gate and it was only about 2ft from the public pavement. I was very worried about my MJ stash today!!!

I think that too. I am thinking of waiting for a week and then ordering the same dose at new price. If I am able to collect the pen at new price then I will challenge them. If I never get my pen then I will change my pharmacy. I have always used them so may be this would motivate me to use another pharmacy.

CroissantChops · 27/08/2025 22:09

@ThatCyanSheep Hira does both Curate and Oushk? I’m not sure about that.. where is that ?

QueenOfHiraeth · 27/08/2025 22:13

@CroissantChops Hira owns Oushk, that is her company, but she is also superintendent pharmacist of Curate so that one isn't her company (to my knowledge) but she has a senior role there as the pharmacist responsible for standards, etc

KrankyKumquat · 27/08/2025 22:16

@CroissantChops
I seem to remember there was a bit of a fuss about this...maybe a year ago? She said she'd helped them out with prescribing for a while as they were setting up. TBH, it was so long ago, I'd forgotten all about it, pretty certain it all blew over in a day or two.

QueenOfHiraeth · 27/08/2025 22:18

@KrankyKumquat Yes, I remember that too but can't remember the details. I think I heard recently that she was still involved there though

CroissantChops · 27/08/2025 22:23

Thanks! Not that it matters of course.

it’s clearly a ‘side effect’ of when you mix pharmaceuticals and influencing - people grow curious!

Juniper have stock at the old price still, there is a code for £75 off which has been shared on the promo board

Can you remind me about juniper. Is it Subscription that you can cancel anytime?

Apprenante · 27/08/2025 22:40

Choux · 27/08/2025 18:59

They sent you a pen when ordered and they are pretty cheap according to Monj. Why don’t you want to stay with them?

I don't like the idea of being tied to one provider.

Yes, I ordered Saturday and my pen is already being sent out. Contacted me about dose and were willing to discuss the fact I wanted to lose more so agreed the pen I wanted

Lotus, who gave a good initial impression, have not delivered the pen I ordered on the 18th, or given any update for a full week now. No reply to my emails. I didn't want to clog up their system with enquires while it was clear they were overwhelmed, but when they say 'sorry for the delay, we expect you'll receive tracking in 1-2 days' and nearly a week later you still haven't heard anything... 🤷🏻‍♀️

Edited

I just received my Lotus pen today (Weds 27th) - they prescribed on the 21st. Bank holiday in the middle may have delayed. It was delivered / fulfilled by a differently named company though - Signature Pharmacy. The delivery emails all came from them. In case you’ve missed something from a name you weren’t expecting in your junk mail or something!

MiniCoopers · 28/08/2025 06:59

Sky news are reporting that Eli Lilly have paused distribution of their supplies until the price hike kicks in to stop pharmacies stock piling up

Thanks, yes I got the email about Signature last Wednesday and nothing since then. I’ve been checking my spam regularly. Something seems to have gone wrong, but it’s impossible to get any reply from them.

Has anyone had an issue with SOP when they've tried to space out their orders? I'm taking 2.5 of my 5 so it will last 8 weeks and I'd like to know if they are going to give me grief as if like to stay on this forever. Thanks

hereforthecheer · 28/08/2025 09:21

Double posted and cant work out how to delete one - sorry

MissMogs · 28/08/2025 11:19

IQ Doc have only just replied to an email I sent them on 19th asking about staying on the same level, and now to say that it’s out of stock! I’m so glad I had no loyalty and ordered elsewhere. Lotus sent me a twin pack (via Signature - and it arrived with ice packs still frozen!)

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/08/2025 11:47

Iq 10 came today totally frozen and sent /approved yesterday

When I switched to them I had a couple of pens in hand from ages before - I asked about whether I could order every 6 weeks or so to enable me to use them up and they said no, it would flag up with their pharmacist and they wouldn’t allow a gap. But - they did say maybe they could put it in my notes and if I explained each time I ordered it might be ok. I didn’t bother and so still have pens in hand! But this was a few months ago, things might be different now that everyone knows that people have been buying multiple pens ahead of the price increase.
