Hi.

finally decided to give Mounjaro a go, and Medexpress comes up a lot on here as a supplier, however no one ever seems to pick up the phone when I am calling In to get some questions answered so I won’t be ordering from them.

Anyone have any other recommendations?

Thank you.

Look at the comparison site Monj:

https://monj.co.uk/discount-mounjaro-price-list/

Loads of different options. I've seen people mention pretty much all of the sites listed on threads in this section. Personally I've used Asda who were fine, but then swapped to Zava because Asda was too expensive. Zava have been fine for me too so far - two orders with them to date.

What questions did you want to ask?

IHateMozzies · 07/02/2025 13:27

Try emailing, they respond fairly quickly.

MolluscMonday · 07/02/2025 13:28

Cloud Pharmacy have been great for me- prompt and responsive.

Shrinkingrose · 07/02/2025 13:31

They are poor in customer service, don’t offer maintenance and do hard cut off, and their higher dose pens are very highly priced. They also have delays and mess with people on their photos. It’s not good.

Titasaducksarse · 07/02/2025 13:33

I've found Medexpress great. They've answered emails quickly

Oushk is who I moved to after being with MedExpress. Really good customer service (very responsive) and there are often discount codes on their Facebook page.

This is exactly what I was mindful of, when after holding on the phone for 30 mins over the course of 3 days and no one picks up that usually means they will stress me with their poor customer service and there are certain things I prefer to discuss/ask over the phone rather than batting emails back and forth.

Did you find it was easy to move over to them ? I'm with MedExpress at the moment and all is fine but I'm worried it'll be tricky to move suppliers .

QueenOfHiraeth · 07/02/2025 14:29

I'm with Ashcroft and have found them very good. I order before 2pm for next morning delivery via Royal Mail. The only time I had a query I rang them up, they answered and were very helpful. The guy I spoke to told me they have a dedicated weight loss line and a GP who works with them for any queries they can't deal with instantly

Verlaine · 07/02/2025 14:30

No-one phones companies to ask questions that’s probably why!

Verlaine · 07/02/2025 14:32

@ExplodingCarrots I’ve switched every month since I started. You’re getting a poor deal if you don’t!

mjuser · 07/02/2025 14:36

Medexpress definitely do maintenance. My BMI has been in the healthy range for my last three orders. No issues or queries, and for those worried about a hard cut off, my BMI at the last order was 21.9 so if there is one, I haven't hit it yet (not intending to go below 21.5).

They just sent an update today with reassurances that the new regulations won't affect the ordering process, specifically mentioning those who are at a healthy weight and maintaining. I had been toying with a move to Oushk but can't see the point now.

I am quite phone-averse though, so the impersonal email type service suits me. And I did have to send three lots of photos at the start, but I'd like to think I was carrying my obesity well 😂

My referral code gets used (very) occasionally, so the price is OK too.

PiousBitch · 07/02/2025 15:07

When you switch companies, do you go back to the lowest dose?

Verlaine · 07/02/2025 15:24

No of course not @PiousBitch!!

tweetypi · 07/02/2025 15:26

Similar question to @PiousBitch - can you swap providers if you are below bmi 30? Ie you start in the obese range, lose a bit, then want to swap?

Verlaine · 07/02/2025 15:29

Yes you should be able to - as long as you can prove previous prescriptions

Adelstrop · 07/02/2025 15:37

I’ve switched twice. No problems you just need proof of previous prescriptions (I just keep the boxes).

Im happy with Asda. I like the convenience of collecting when i get my shopping and knowing its straight from the the pharmacy fridge.

They also give me extra needles no problem.

They check in regularly and always answer any questions quickly.

They appear more expensive but no delivery charges and I had discount on my first 2 pens and the higher doses are not that much more than other providers.

How do you get extra needles? I’m with them too.

SilenceInside · 07/02/2025 20:44

@OliviaFlaversham when I was ordering from Asda (home delivered) they always included about 8 needles with each order.

I've moved to Oushk from next month too, better priced and reasonably priced maintenance plan.

people online to help with any issues
