Expiry Dates Thread for Mounjaro MJ

I wonder if anyone else would be interested in a specific thread where we can note the expiry dates we are being issued and by which supplier?

Also, if you know how long they might let you go between placing orders.

I currently have a bit of a stockpile due to some offers and previous concern about maintenance, so need to be mindful of my expiry dates whilst maintaining a relationship with my favoured pharmacy for future maintenance.

I have 7.5mg dated 04/25, 10mg and 12.5mg dated 11/25, and 15mg dated 08/25. Are there any later dates being dispensed currently?

Is everyone using the pens straightaway or building a stockpile for moving up or down?

Just checked and my 2 x 5mg pens are dated 02/27 and 03/27. I’m unintentionally building a small stock as I’m micro dosing at 3.75mg but still using 5mg pens.

Hmm. I’ll ring and ask for the use by dates before ordering my next pen and see what they say.

I have a small stockpile, not even sure if it counts as a stockpile, as I usually have one pen in use and two in stock. I have ended up with this due to getting 5 doses out of each pen and gradually getting ahead of myself in terms of ordering every 4 weeks. I suppose at some point I might end up with 3 pens in stock, but sometimes I delay ordering for a week due to whenever my pay day is!

Pharmulous 2.5mg 04/27 (received two weeks agao as i wanted to get onto their maintenance list)

i am microdosing for maintenance 1.5mg every 6 days

I've also been receiving 5mg 12/26 from Cloud the last few months, despite having longer dates from them previously. I guess a main distributor/ Lilly is providing these earlier ones at the moment.

My 5mg pen that arrived this week was dated 12/26.

All my previous 5mg pens from the same provider had 2027 use by dates!

I suspect Lilly are offloading all the pens with the golden dose in them before supplying the newer reduced 4 dose only pens. 🤔

just received another 5mg pen from MedExpress that has 12/26 date, that’s 4 consecutive months I have received pen with 12/ 26 date from them.

Same with Cloud. Just received another 12/26 5mg yesterday. At least 3rd in a row after previous 2027 pens from them. Just grateful they are not the new reduced fill ones.

Same for me. Medexpress just sent me a 10mg with 09/26. I will have to stop ordering now unless I can guarantee the next pen is later than 04/27. I guess if the new pens start in April they must have a longer expiry date. Golden dose lost, but can still get value from the micro dose.

I am not sure who has discovered old stock they need to send out. It could be disorganisation from the manufacturer, the UK distributor or individual suppliers.

my supplier Pharmulous has sent me 04/27 dates for the last three pens (two 10mg and a 12.5mg) and the one before that was 03/27. I think some suppliers might not have been sending out old stock first.

Someone posted on the Oushk circle app a day ago that they had received two 10mg pens dated September 26.

i ordered 2 due to the impending new pens so quite pleased with 2027 dates

Last month 5mg with 12/26 expiry.
This month 7.5mg with 02/27 expiry.
Both from Cloud.

a 15mg pen from Pillsorted on 10/03/26 - expiry 04/2027
a 15mg pen from Medexpress on 12/03/26 - expiry 04/2027

I also already have a 15mg pen
from Numan - delivered on 09/01/26 - expiry 04/2027
from Lloyds - delivered on 10/02/26 - expiry 04/2027

I’ve just ordered 3 x 5mg pens from my last prescription and they arrived today. All of them have 12/26 expiry date!!!

I’m so annoyed as I’m only taking 3mg from a dose and I already have 1.5 pens in my fridge. 😠

Which company did you get your pens from?

A pharmacy that sells online based in Northern Ireland as there’s virtually no choice over here.

At 8 doses per pen, that should still keep you within the expiry date. Is the one in your fridge 2027? That will give you an even bigger buffer

Yes same thing happened to me. Three 5mg pens with 12/26. Although I don’t have any spare ones and even if each lasts 12 weeks will still be ok. That was Swift. I agree with theory that EL offloading old stock..:

I currently have a pen that is from last August but dated 1/27 so will be the last of my current batch, expect to be using around October 🤦‍♀️

Received a 10mg pen last week from Curely with a 9/26 expiry. Previous 4 pens of lower strength from different suppliers were Dec 26 to March 27.
I’ve now got 5 pens, these will be used in date order using short dosing and I’ve worked out they will all be used before the expiry dates. But I’ll have to stop buying now.

Got a 12.5mg from Med Express last month with 12/26 expiry date and a 15mg pen from Pharmulous this week worth 4/27 expiry date.
