gallbladder removed and using Mounjaro

I'd like to start Mounjaro but have had my gallbladder removed. Is anyone using Mounjaro without a gallbladder? How is it working out for you?

Hi everyone. I've been on Mounjaro for 7 weeks. Next Monday I'm going up to 5mg. I'm hoping I don't get any side effects. When I started I had 2 weeks of nausea & diarrhoea but now I'm fine. I've only lost just over a stone, I'm down to 21 stone now but it's seems so long now. Did anyone have side effects when they went on higher dose?

usual side effects of nausea and constipation at times, but nothing major x

Hi, had my gall bladder removed 8/9 years ago. Weight loss of 8kg in 8 weeks. All is going well and no side effects. Good luck with your journey.

I am! Using for a year, basically no side effects, lost almost 4 stone nice and slow

No problems for me either I’m on 7.5 now and had gall bladder removed April 2024.

Hi everyone. 2 weeks ago I went up to the higher dose of 5. Unfortunately, it had a strong reaction with me. It inflamed my hiatus hernia & I was very unwell. My GP has referred me for endoscopy to check out how big my stomach hernia is now & I'm waiting for results of pancreas test. I'm really hoping to carry on with injections soon as I've gone from 140.01 to 131.10. I thought having no gallbladder would be the problem but the pain I was in over my hiatus hernia was awful. Anyone, else had similar issues?
