Telling people/ not telling people?

Wondering what others are doing?
Part of me wants to be open about it bevause I don't think it's shameful to medicate a health problem. But the other part of me thinks it opens a can of worms- judgement/gossip, all the health warnings and the incessant "well it will all go back in when you stop", I just can't be arsed with that either.
Wondering what others have done?
I'm not talking about immediate family, they know, more extended family/colleagues/friends.

Why do people need to know? Sure close friends and family may be but why anyone else?

Not because it should be secretive but why would anyone be interested?

I've told friends and family and the only one not 100% supportive is DH. He's supportive overall but misses the old me who would eat a lot more and have another glass of wine! Also, he keeps reading the negative press it's had recently so is a little worried for me. He doesn't think I need to lose weight but was concerned about my BP and Cholesterol so that's what swayed him in the first place. My BMI was around 35 when I started so I definitely do need to lose weight! Not telling anyone at work as it's quite frankly none of their business. I'm also a slow loser so will be a while before anyone notices.
