do you think i could get away with these under a floor length gown. I don't like the of buying uncomfortable shoes that i wear for only one day. So thought these maybe a idea

well i was hoping with a nice dress and it being floor length people wouldn't notice the shoes as long as they are similar colour to the dress .I maybe 38 but i had a issue since childhood with problems with my legs. I get stiffness and pain in the muscles in my legs so i was hoping to find something `a little less unbearable .Good footwear helps

They aren't to my tastes but I didn't love my own shoes because I needed flat sandals because DH is much shorter than me, and I needed ankle straps due to repeated ankle injuries meaning no flip flops etc.

Wear what makes you feel comfortable. I ended up married in wellies because my shoes were left in the hotel and not taken to the church. Makes for an interesting story

Wear what you want. My sister wore trainers as her feet were swollen from medical treatment.

These are the least bad of the choice, but where are you finding these shoes OP? You're 38, these look like something out of an elderly peoples catalogue, they're almost orthopaedic.

Anything white, cream, gold or silver would be fine, there's loads of footbed and ankle strap sandals out there at the moment that would be reasonably comfortable, and look a bit less aged.

yeah this has always been a issue with shoes .I had physio till i was about 10 i can walk but a good pair of shoes help me .I have never really had a nice looking pair of shoes and although i gave up finding something both comfortable and pretty a while ago. I know being a bride means i am going to have to find something that at least looks presentable

Oh my goodness they are absolutely hideous - please don't wear them - there are myriad flat open toes sandled in pearl, silver and gold that would suit - Rainbow make all sorts of styles and heights - DD and I wore them for her wedding- I wore a medium high sling back and DD a low block heel - neither of us had comfort issues and danced all night

pretty much all i have ever worn is either sketchers, dr martins ,clarks or sports sandals my familiarity with shoes is awful .I am looking for something cream near flats but if its completely flat that causes issues. But i cant walk in heels due to my issues i am a clutz =p

Can't you go for something champagne gold or silver? The colour of all these makes them even worse

They're not my taste, but if you want to wear them then do- you're right that nobody will see them! A lot of brides wear trainers or Crocs for the same reason.
