do you think i could get away with these under a floor length gown. I don't like the of buying uncomfortable shoes that i wear for only one day. So thought these maybe a idea

Ballet pumps and Converse have no support.

How about these? https://www.gaborshoes.co.uk/womens-c1/shoes-c2/metallics-t46

OP what is comfortable to one person isn’t to another. I can walk and run all day in high (princess of wales type) stilettos, I can’t walk across the room in a kitten heel sling back.

Having said that do branch out and be brave, there are plenty of lovely shoes and you will surprise yourself if you start to try some on.

it in your wedding so wear what you want, but I really do want to encourage you to buy something you will feel special in.

Very sensible to wear comfortable shoes, and as you say, the dress is floor length. Have you looked at shoes from Solebliss? They aren’t cheap, but are lovely and well-made. You can wear them to bits after your wedding, too, so they won’t really be very extravagant.
Have a lovely wedding day x

I meant to add, their trainers are great. They do white and silver ones, too!
