Hi - I could do it if you need anyone - though you've had so many lovely offers you could easily end up with a big wedding.

Congratulations- what a marvellous thing to do. I didn't want a big wedding either and would have loved to have done it your way!

We eloped to Scotland for exactly the same reason, and had a Mumsnet witness who I'm still friends with. Congratulations!

I had two close friends but nearly ended up with one from here as the train strikes made it all a bit of a nightmare!

I'm not local, but don't know if I would actually. Wouldn't anyone be concerned about facilitating a marriage the couple's friends and family don't support/aren't included in? Obviously there are numerous possible reasons for that, but to do it for someone without knowing any of the background seems uncomfortable to me.
