Elopement - would you be our witnesses?

Hi, we are getting married in December just the two of us and hoping 2 people wouldn't mind being our witnesses? It's in London on a Monday.. x

We eloped to Scotland for exactly the same reason, and had a Mumsnet witness who I'm still friends with. Congratulations!

I think you have to be on the browser/webpage to send a DM...certainly used to be

I had two close friends but nearly ended up with one from here as the train strikes made it all a bit of a nightmare!

Honestly, our wedding was amazing.

I'm not local, but don't know if I would actually. Wouldn't anyone be concerned about facilitating a marriage the couple's friends and family don't support/aren't included in? Obviously there are numerous possible reasons for that, but to do it for someone without knowing any of the background seems uncomfortable to me.

Ok that's helpful thank you, will go on desktop later, and I'm happy to share background privately, or connect via Facebook / Instagram but there's really not much too it other than we don't want a big wedding or any fuss!
