Please help me pick which dress

I think that one of these may be the one but cant decide.
Number one doesn't fit and has some loose cups added in the wrong place it is covered in little clear sequins that are quite sparkly which the picture doesn't show.
Number two is a good fit and you can see all the details.
By the way I am over 55 so trying to dress appropriately:)

I would say if you don't absolutely love the dress its not the dress. Ask yourself this, if someone bought the either of those dresses and it was the last one, would you be devastated if you couldn't have it?.... if not then it's not the dress for you.
This was how the lady in the bridal shop I went to got me to eliminate dresses, when I wasn't sure on one.
In answer to your OP though, I think dress 2 suits you better. Smile

Ok so maybe strapless isn't for me, I just went down that route because all the shop ladies said I have good shoulders and they suit me I think I need to look again but I do really like those 2

2 is the nicer dress.

However, I don’t like strapless wedding dresses really.

You do have good shoulders and your figure can pull off both of those dresses, so I do mean this kindly and I do take your point about wanting that princess style experience for the big day. My best advice though is that you can do much better. Style wise both of the dresses look very old hat and formulaic to me.

I'd see you in something more sophisticated and more up to date, but the most important thing is that you feel amazing. It seems that if you feel the need to ask MN then you're not sure, but if you know what you want, then you do just know.

Two suits your figure very well.

Ignore the age comments/strapless. If you feel good then wear what you like.

Enrique I am 5 foot 1 and a 10 or a 12 , I would pay up to 1k for the right dress but would prefer something less. I am really grateful for everybody's help thanks so much.

Two - the bodice is a much more flattering shape on you and the v at the front accentuates your waist beautifully . I think one is too long in the body and not as flattering to your lovely figure

Cutebutscary yes you are probably right, I think I have discounted number one now as everyone is more in favour of 2.

Atalune, thank you for the lovely compliments but I can't pull off a dress like that anymore, I have put a lot of weight on since I met Dp....contentment 😂

I prefer the way that 2 looks on you, but personally I don't thing strapless is doing much for you. Have you considered adding something to the shoulders?
