This is the finished ‘look’ with the veil and tiara etc.. too much?

I love the dress especially the bottom half. I think if you got rid of the fussy lace around the neckline and went back to the mesh it will be perfect (as it was designed to be)

whattodo2019 · 13/10/2019 07:37

You look absolutely beautiful, gorgeous figure, the dress is v flattering.
I'm personally not keen on the lace and sheer fabric on the chest and the skirt is too detailed for my taste.

But you do look wonderful x

whattodo2019 · 13/10/2019 07:38

Sorry but I much prefer it before you added the lace. The dress was more balanced x

Yeahnahyeah1 · 13/10/2019 07:45

You look amazing, congratulations 😊

blahblahblahblahhh · 13/10/2019 07:46

Waist up is lovely - not so keen on the skirt.

forgivemeimnew · 13/10/2019 07:52

I think it looks lovely and it really suits your slim figure.

Mamasaurus82 · 13/10/2019 08:30

Really nice fit. I think wedding dresses are such a personal choice, as we can tell from the comments. Nobody would like exactly the same as you, but as everyone has said it's about you feeling comfortable and beautiful in it. I think it is lovely but nothing like the one I wore. Because everyone has different tastes! Congratulations and good luck for the big day! Xx

awarmglow · 13/10/2019 08:30

It's like a dress of 2 halves. The lace, tiara and veil go well together but the skirt looks like it's from a different dress. I love the layered skirt though.

Passthewipes · 13/10/2019 08:33

Just seen the dress....I like the top, and I like the bottom but not together. It's like two completely different styles mashed together. The top I like more than the bottom, and could see with a scalloped edge or lace trim veil, and a more simple bottom with a bit of lace overlay, or completely plain bottom with a lace edged train

Passthewipes · 13/10/2019 08:35

Just had a second look...have you tried a more fitted dress, slightly mermaid style or fit and flare, you have an amazing figure, show it off!

MincedOath · 13/10/2019 08:36

Love it just as it is.

MistyMinge2 · 13/10/2019 08:39

I don't think the veil and tiara look right with it. I would lose them and have a clip or flower/s tucked into an up do.

Have a look at glitzy secrets. They do some nice headwear.

Ikeameatballs · 13/10/2019 08:43

I really like the back so would not go for the veil as I think it will be really distracting.

daisypond · 13/10/2019 08:43

It fits you really well but I also don’t think the top and bottom of the dress go together. It either needs a simpler top half or a simpler skirt part.

MissRabbitNeedsAHoliday · 13/10/2019 09:16

I think if you don't have the tiara and have some flowers or a clip or something like pp suggested it might work a bit better. I just think with the high neck the tiara and veil are a bit much, however if you love it then it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks! Its your day and you will be a beautiful bride whatever you decide to wear. If you bought it on a whim that probably means you loved it, so try not to talk yourself out of it now.

IfIShouldFallFromGraceWithGod · 13/10/2019 09:19

I think it's gorgeous and you look amazing

Jayaywhynot · 13/10/2019 09:20

I agree with op, love the top but the skirt doesn't match, it needs to lose the hanky/folded layers at the top and the lines around the hem, imo an embellished top needs a plain bottom unless the pattern/ decoration runs all the way through the dress, I really like the top tho

fessmess · 13/10/2019 09:35

I think it is a beautiful dress. Important thing is do you like it? If you were my daughter/friend I would encourage you to go for it.

thethoughtfox · 13/10/2019 09:41

The bottom and top don't match.

FenellaMaxwell · 13/10/2019 09:48

I’ve just looked more closely at the pictures - could they take the extra lace off, perhaps? It makes it all look very busy.

totallyradllama · 13/10/2019 09:49

I agree it looked much better in the original pic without the extra lace added

But if it's not possible to remove it I'd ditch the veil and get a simpler headdress.

Hey1256 · 13/10/2019 09:52

I'm not a fan of it at all sorry,

flowery · 13/10/2019 09:53

”Sorry but I much prefer it before you added the lace. The dress was more balanced”

Yes I agree with this. In the photo without the extra lace it didn’t look quite so much like two different dresses and the top didn’t look quite so much too fussy for the bottom.

allabouteve1 · 13/10/2019 09:58

I think it is gorgeous and fits you beautifully. I'd go simple in my hair- a few flowers or put it up in a simple knot with a jewelled comb in it. The vail and tiara is too much. I think it is really flattering as it shows off you waist beautifully.

thinkfast · 13/10/2019 10:10

If I love it OP. Dress is beautiful. Just not too keen on the veil
