We are choosing ours now and Lionel Richie Stuck on you is in the lead. Just the way you are by Billy joel and how long will i love you by Ellie Goulding are the contenders as well. Want to walk down the isle to star wars imperial march but may settle to grow old with you by adam sandler

If I was getting married now I would choose Ed Sheeran’s Perfect. The words really reasonate with DH and I especially the bit where it says A girl stronger than anything, feels like a song to say we are in this together which is kind of our motto.

We had Seal's Kiss From a Rose.

I was the maid of honour for my sister at her wedding. We've always been best friends. After she had her first dance with her husband she surprised me with a song just for me and her. We both cried and it meant so much to me. It was S Club 7, her favourite band when we were little. I love her to pieces.

We had the Calvin Harris song Feels so close sung acoustic by Nelly Furtado.

Last of the ladies by The Courteeners.

If I was choosing now, I'd pick At Last by Etta James. It really sums up how I feel. We didn't have an official first dance because we didn't want everyone staring at us dancing in a circle. The dj played Angels by Robbie Williams (it was 2002, so before the oddness started,) as the last song. Most people had gone and it was just our friends. We felt safe!

We considered Martin Rev's 'I Heard Your Name' but the only copy we could get our hands on at the time was the tape we had recorded from the John Peel show.

We started with ellie goulding's how long will i love you and went into black eyed peas tonight's gonna be a good night. We had dance lessons and learnt a routine as felt conscious of shuffling on spot. Was scary but glad we did it.

We had Amazed by Lonestar. Still love the song but not so keen on the way.

we are getting married next May and I keep changing my mind over the first dance song but at the moment Ed Sheeran thinking out loud is the favourite.

We had All of Me by John Legend. I like the lyrics and it was DH's idea, I didn't love that lol Kardashian had just got married and it was there first dance but I would say it's grown on me over the last few years.

Never tear us apart by INXS. We got married 5 years ago on my 40th birthday at The Deep aquarium in Hull in front of the shark tank!

DP wants Start wearing purple by Gogol Bordello when we get married next year. I'm not sure...it is fun though and has a lovely toe tapping rhythm. We're not planning to dance long (I've got ME and limited mobility) so will have people primed to push all the kids on to join us asap so I can give up and sit down. It's a good song for crazy kids dancing!

We forgot to choose a first dance song in advance. On the night the DJ, instead of asking us what to play, asked my MIL (goodness knows why!). I was really annoyed as she chose ‘We’ve Only Just Begun’ by The Carpenters. This was a song we’d already chosen to be used at the beginning of our wedding video so the same song was used twice on the video, at the beginning and for the first dance. In the video you can see me questioning my poor DH why this song was being used instead of us just enjoying the dance .
