Rennet is in some cheese, lining of cows stomach.

Both sound bad to me (vegetarian until recently, now vegan). I'd not be looking forward to the food at all. I don't like risotto and you can't serve carrots as the main! Especially for £10 more than the risotto.

Thank you ladies Smile

Sweets, marshmallows, jellies and puddings sometimes aren’t vegetarian either back for good. They often contain gelatine.

I would refuse each menu!

Got onto the caterers and tell them it's not acceptable. You're paying a lot of money and they need to listen.

Ooh yummy. That all looks much better. There’s nothing chocolatey for dessert, but the lemon tart would be right up my street. The lamb main sounds delicious

B

Delicious things on that new menu though I'm still not sure what the veggie option is. Is it 'baked vegetable en croute'?

GahWhatever · 03/06/2018 08:35

You've left the restaurant name on OP.
Having eaten there myself, I say go with whatever has a dish on that you like to eat yourself and costs the least. Everything will be superb.

Nowisthemonthofmaying · 05/06/2018 10:16

That looks much better - baked vegetables in pastry still sounds like a bit of a cop-out on the veggie front but it could be delicious if they are mixing in herbs and cheese etc, and it's waaay better than carrots!
